I am a happy boy because the last two days I have woken up to snow on the ground! I love snow and can't wait to dig in the piles I hope will come this winter. My parents do not share my enthusiasm for snow, however.
This weekend the peeps put up the snow fence, got the shrubs ready for winter by wrapping burlap around them (to keep the rabbits from eating them this winter) and putting wooden pallets around the Scotch pines (to keep the deer from eating them). The deer really seem to like Scotch pines for some reason.
Mom is doing well with her obedience homework and is even coming when called now! She does need to work on her long sit as she seems easily distracted when sitting for a period of time. Her long downs are starting to be much better and she will even roll on her back and just lay there, BOL!
Not only did my momma not bring me back any goodies when she spent Canadian Thanksgiving with grammy a week ago, but this weekend the peeps went to our town's annual fall supper, and I still got nothing! What does a pup have to do to get a treat?
Have a great week everyone and I hope we get more snow tomorrow!
Going to be a long winter.
I think the deer and the wabbits eat what they eat cos there is nothing else left !
SO glad Mum is paying attention at the Obedience !
Nothing brought back... that is badddddddd !!
Snow? Did sumpup menshun SNOW???? OH EM DEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! Yu r so wucky, Buddy! Bud we mite ged 'wet fwurries' on da weekend! WOO-HOO :D
Sowwy 'bout yur gweedy pawents!!
I heard that 's' word here, too, but likely it will only be a flake or two...fur now.
No goodies?? Sheesh:(
Maybe they ought to teach sharing to your momma at obedience classes.
It's that time of year again, when our pals start barking about snow. I have no idea what that is. It mixes me up, because some pups say they like it and some don't. Since you like it, Buddy, I hope you get lots and lots! And I hope your pawrents will start bringing you home some good people food! (Although mine nevfur do, either...)
Enjoy your snow!
Buddy, glad you are enjoying the snow. I don't know anything about snow!
Oh Buddy, Caileigh and I got lots of turkey. If we had known we would have sent you some.
I'm sure you were very happy to see the snow, we know how much you love it.
I'm not sure how many people and dogs will share that love with you.
Snow! Glorious Snow! Will you please send some our way? We didn't get very much at all last year. I LOVE the stuff.
Maybe in the next class they'll teach your Mom to give treats. I have Mum trained pretty good that way. You'll just have to keep working on it. They say you need patience and to be consistent. So keep trying Buddy.
OMG....SNOW!!! it's way to early for that. I feel like summer just ended...
OMD!Buddy it's just too EARLY for SNOW! I woke up to just a dusting of snow......YUCKY! I'll send you all of my snow too!
I froze my little butt off yesterday...it was 37 and today 35
Gma raked leaves for 5 hrs. trying to get the wet mess cleaned up! We've had 10" of rain since Sept. to the current date.
The leaves just won't dry out! I had a sweatshirt on,2 blankets and a cushioned patio chair....After 2 hrs. I baled on Gma and begged to go inside! Send me your extra hair and I'll make a furry coat for myself! But keep your Snow up there! kisses, mazy
I don't like snow. Glad we don't get much.
Snow!!! We kind of like it but mom and dad sure don't! We have that very same problem Buddy, our mom and dad never bring us any goodies when they go out either. I heard those places have things called "doggie bags" that moms and dads can put some goodies in and bring them home for their "doggies". So why don't they ever do it!!!
