Mommy is concerned

Well pups, I haven't had any more diarrhea since that last bout this morning. I have eaten a little rice and chicken and that seems to be sitting well with my tummy. What has mommy concerned now is that I won't drink -- at all. I won't even drink out of my favorite bucket in the yard.

She is gonna try the ice cubes again and make some chicken broth and then water it down a bit and see if I will take that. If anyone has some suggestions on how to get me to drink, please pass them along.

Mom says if I am not drinking by tomorrow I have to go see the vet.

Oooo.. not eating is never really a problem... not drinking is.

Just a thought.. add a little honey to the water.... its not something you would what to do long term... but we are talking the exception here.

Or molasses?
Buddy you have to drink, you have to fur sure!

Will you let your mom give you water from a spoon or dropper, right into the pocket of your jowls? That is forcing you to drink, but it may be what needs to be done...

Dude, you gotta drink! Even if you won't eat tall grass for rumbly tummy, you have to drink. How about really diluted no sodium chicken stock. We get that in ice cube form when it is really hot outside. Sometimes just licking an ice cube helps too.
