Hanging out with Mom and Dad, naps with Dad, chasing the cat around the house, catching the cat...
Being disturbed when he is sleeping. Also, he absolutely hates the Ghost Rider in the movie (the actual character, not Nickolas Cage). He barks like crazy at the TV the entire time the Ghost Rider is on the screen.
His skunk or cow. When he thinks no one's looking, the cat.
Anything he can mooch off of someone.
Through the chickens. He likes to wait until they gather to eat and then run through them. He doesn't hurt them, just scatters them. He seems to think this is very funny.
Putting Dad to sleep. He is really good at this.
Kevin was simply meant to be a part of our family, even though I didn't initially realize it. When my Step Daughter brought him in with the words "Look what I got for you, Mom" I was NOT happy. We already had two dogs, three cats and a yard full of chickens. My wife fell in love at first sight, though, and I love her so obviously I want her to be happy so... Kevin got to stay. Kevin was totally unaware and/or uncaring about the discussion over whether he could stay or not, happily setting out to make our home his from the moment his paws hit the floor. He was completely at home and at ease.
Over the weeks that followed, Kevin decided he was "Daddy's dog" and, as hard as it was for me to admit it at first, having always been a "big dog" kind of guy, he wore me down and is now, in fact, Daddy's Dog.
