Happy New Year!

It was so nice to have my diary picked for diary of the day - thank you Dogster! I'm still just a puppy and won't have my first birthday till next month, so it was a real surprise.

I had such a nice Christmas, my first. Mostly, it was great cause I have my new family and love them so much. They love me lots too and they're so glad I'm part of the family now.

My brother, Willie, doesn't play with me enough and I try my best to get him to play. I don't know if he doesn't like me or just doesn't feel good. He has been sick lately so maybe that's why. I think he likes me - I mean, what's not to like? Just cause I pull his tail sometimes or try to bite his leg or chase him around, that's no reason not to like me. I'm lovable and cute and cuddly ;)

Anyway, we had a great Christmas. I didn't eat any tree ornaments, didn't chew any cords, didn't open any packages that weren't mine and I really liked getting new toys. Lately, I have been carrying off shoes that belong to my family and playing with them, so Santa got me my very own pair of sneakers. The only thing is, they don't smell the same and aren't as big, so I don't play with them as much.

Well, I hope everyone else has a really great 2013 - my family says that's a fun time to celebrate but they're hoping I don't get scared by the fireworks some people will shoot off. Happy New Year everybody!!!
