Arrival Story: I had lost my beloved dog Dancer a couple of years prior and finally made the decision to risk my heart again. I had always had large dogs, but due to the rules where I was then living, I knew it had to be a smaller dog. I did some research and was very interested in the Schipperke (known as the big dog in a small dog's body). I went to see some pups and loved them all. But there was one that would not leave me alone. He just wanted to sit on my lap and kiss me the entire 2 or so hours I was there. He wouldn't let go. I knew then that he had picked me and I didn't have a choice in the matter. I was to be his Mom. I had to leave him with his current guardian for a couple more weeks to finish out his shots. As I was leaving, his guardian asked me if he should put a colored color on him to make sure I knew which one he was when I returned. I looked at him and said, "I don't think that will be a problem!" Sure enough, when I returned a couple of weeks later, here came my bundle of joy running to me. He had picked his Mom for life and was ready to start the adventure. And what an adventure it has been!
Bio: Taz is the best little dog in the whole wide world. He loves to snuggle and snooze and cuddle and play. Everything is about "him" and he has to be in the center of everything (of course). He is a bundle of joy in my life! You can check out more about him at: The Taz Man’s Home

Long time, no bark. Hope all the Dogter Doggies are doing well.
I'm doing just fine. I turned 10 years young in April. Whoo hoo!
Mom is still as ditzy as always. She was trying to put this fountain together yesterday. Well, first she tried to screw the solar panel on backwards. Then when the fountain didn't work, she realized that she hadn't put the plug all the way in the jug. Ha...ha...ha... Poor Mom. She does need me around to keep her straight.
Mom and I are about to head out for a walkie, so I'll keep this short. We haven't been on many walkies lately because Mom sprained her foot.
Hey there Dogster pals! Hope you all are doing well!
It finally happened - I'm cone-free!!!! Yay!!!! Mom says my stitches are healing well and I've been a good boy about not licking at them. And tomorrow, I get to have some of my old food! You know what that means...treats are next! Oh yeah, Man! Love them treats! Mom says I should be able to go back to daycare starting in July! Yay! I miss my little black schnauzer pal there.
Mom's been busy on the home front planting flowers and stuff. I supervised. It's kind of nice sitting out there and enjoying the flowers with Mom, but I just don't know what to do about all these darn C-A-T-S! They keep invading my space and what's worse, they seem to be multiplying in numbers! I tell ya' - what's a dog to do?
Well, that's about all I had to bark about. You all take care now!
Wuf,
Taz {The Angel Dog!}
Happy Memorial Day! Prayers go out to all those doggies who are missing their daddies or mommies today. Licks and stuff...
Sorry I haven't written in awhile. I had a bit of a mishap. I swallowed a piece of bark and they had to open my belly to get it out 'cause it got stuck. Ooops! Anyway, as you can see...I'm back to my spunky Schippy self - minus a bit of fur. I'm getting lots of belly rubs these days though.
And Spring has arrived in California! Yay! Mom did all the garden and patio work and now I get to be outside and enjoy it all. Ah....sunspots galore!
Hope all dogs are well! Later!
Taz {The Angel Dog}
