Maisy was always a scared-y cat but we figured she was severely abused and left for dead..... so it took some time for her to build trust and now she is the best dog and trusting to her human family. Bio: Maisy suffers from discoid lupus which is an external immune disease that attacks her nose. Maisy's nose was so raw that her main veins were exposed and blood would shoot out - it was sad and a mess but we found a great Dr. at the Animal Dermatology Clinic in Irvine, CA. Dr. Newton and Dr. Muse have worked with Maisy since October of 2004 and she is healing well - on meds everyday but she is so much happier and now she doesn’t bleed from her nose! Maisy is so sweet and she loves belly rubs especially from Dr. Heidi Newton!! She is the best dog ever!!! We truly love her and shuttleing her to the dermatologist every two weeks!
