August 1,2012 CAKE !!!

I just got inside from doing my figure 8 circles in the back yard before bedtime and I see me and my family have LOTS of CAKE !!!!!! We love cake, so does my Mom, she especially loves jello cake with whipped cream and after seeing all these cake presents she wishes she had some now. Thanks from all of us. Po, Kiwi and Me, and little Pippi up in Heaven, to all our Dogster friends for all the CAKE !!! YUM..

July 30, 2012 Tuesday

Mom had to go out and do errands today , so she brought me along with her. She would have loved to bring a Frenchie too, but you never know how much the weather is going to heat up. So I guess the Frenchies can only go on short trips till fall. And let me tell you, PO is mad about that.
Anyway, we went to a drug store, and I got to stand outside and see people going in and out. I wasn't too sure about them, but I DID NOT bark, and my Mom was very pleased about that. I would let them pat me under the chin, but kept glancing up at Mom to see how she was reacting. I actually did inch my way up to someone Mom was talking to, for a second, and that was ok. Then we went to Agway and Mom carried me inside the store, I actually got a present. It is a dog treat toothbrush. Ha I don't even have my BigGirl teeth in yet, but I will take it.
Then I ate lunch in my crate in the car. Mom was happy about that too.
Mom says, you would be suprised how many people have Chihuahuas. We kept meeting people who had them, this is interesting. Maybe I can find another Chihuahua to play with sometime. I hope.
Fun day, she better take me out again today- I hope.

July 29,2012 Sunday: Quiet Day

Today was a quiet kind of day. It was raining on and off, and Mom discovered I really don't much care to put my tiny little feet onto wet grass. I didn't do much running around in the rain, just dainty foot placements in the grass. Otherwise nothing much happened. Mom was going through boxes of clothes and weeding out some clothes to donate. She didn't let me help because I would have spent the whole time grabbing onto anything I could and causing a commotion. Po got to help because she is VERY well behaved and wouldn't think of ruining anything. That gets her into a lot more places than I can go. Po also got a bath today, I haven't had a bath yet. Mom says that should be an interesting experience for both of us.
So, we hung around. Cleaned out clothes, painted a white rabbit red. Made dinner and now I am going to bed. Good night.

That is a photo of me in the back yard with one of my two best friends. Simon. Actually Ch. Simon... he is a special dog, 10 years old now, but my Mom had a great time showing him in the past. Those were the good old days. Ha Ha.
Anyway, yesterday Mom took me up to the Salvation Army store, because they are VERY nice people and let dogs come in and go shopping. She figured I needed to see more things than Simon and Robin.
We went up there, I was very good about riding in my crate in the car. When we went into the store I got pretty nervous. I was quietly whining and shaking. Mom has quickly figured out that Chihuahua's need a LOT more socializing than any French Bulldog in the world. She said something about taking me everywhere from now on, until I get really used to every situation. I finally did quiet down, and let a few people pat me, though I didn't look too happy about the whole situation. I kept glancing at Mom, and she kept telling me not to be a silly dog. When I got a chance to ride in the grocery cart I was pretty happy. My little skinny tail was even wagging at some kids who wanted to pat me. When they actually did pat me I got a little nervous again. Mom is used to French Bulldogs who love EVERYONE in the whole world, and know that everyone is just dying to meet them. Chihuahuas are different.

July 25, 2012 Wednesday

Every night after summer as it gets a little cooler my Mom takes me out in the big fenced in yard and I RUNNNN as fast as I can in circles around the yard. Last night Mom was laughing because I ran so fast that my tail was turned upside down. Instead of a question mark over my back it was the exact opposite way, like a cartoon frown. She thinks I am so funny running ... so last night she went back inside and brought out Simon and Robin to run with me. Robin LOVES to run and she is really careful to put on the brakes when she gets too close to me. One time I saw this big (to me) Frenchie barrelling toward me and I just rolled over on my back. That worked, she just licked me and then we all ran around again. Simon just moseyed around, he is too dignified to race after us. Simon Dignified Ha Ha Ha......
Well it's bed time now. Good night Dogsters.

July 24, 2012 Tuesday: Nothing much happening here.

It was another steamy and hot day here today. Mom and her family had to do Dr. appointments today, so I was kind of left here by myself for longer than I would have liked. I was good though, and am playing with my stuffed heart now. Last night we had BOOMING thunder storms. Mom woke up from a sound sleep and I could see her peak at me to see how I would take the noise and flashing lights. I looked back and told her it didn't bother me at all. So we all went back to sleep. Mom thinks I am a VERY well adjusted little dog. She is waiting for me to spring some quirk on her. We will see.

July 22,2012 Everyone is quiet

All my family is being kind of sad and quiet today. I guess it is because my sister Pippi is gone. I don't know what is going on, and I was trying to run around the kitchen with a tissue this morning (so Mom would chase me). She did chase me, but just to take the tissue away.
I did chase the stuffed lion a little this afternoon, but it has been a quiet day here. I did love Pippi.... I would try to play with her, but since she couldn't see me Mom thought that was not fair, so we would sniff each other through the gate.

July 18, 2012 Wednesday:

Hi Dogster Buddies: I am one of the diary picks of the day today. I am very happy and now I know I am special for sure. I already got a pretty pink Rosette from Angel and Dixie, thanks!!!!!
Mom is relieved that the Dentist drama is over with for now. She is a little relieved and a lot poorer.
I got some really nice antlers in the mail from Mom's friend. They feel really good to chew on with my little sharp teeth. Mom says it's a lot better than chewing the wood kitchen table legs. I think I will chew both.
It's another hot one in New England today. All the dogs are once again stuck inside. I don't care about the heat at all. When Mom took me outside for the last time around 7pm last night. I ran and ran so fast that I looked like a tiny greyhound. I speed all around the yard, dodging holes and my Mom. Then I got a tissue out of her pocket and you should have seen me cover that big yard then. She had to make 6 trips from one end of the yard to the other picking up small pieces of tissue, until I had nothing much left and then I gave that to her. That was a BUNCH of fun, for me. Not so much Mom.
Let's see what I can get into today.............

July 16, 2012 Monday

The one good thing that happened today is that I hit 100 views. Yeah !!
That's a nice round number.
Mom went all around shopping and doing errands this morning, but she didn't take anyone with her because she says it is way WAY too hot already. Even for chihuahuas.
Now I just got some flea juice put on me for the first time. I don't know how I feel about that.. Mom is mad because it has been years since we saw a flea around here. Hope she doesn't blame me for that....
Mom is just generally mad because she has to go to the dentist today, and she is NOT happy.... She says, by tonight everyone will be happy again, she hopes.
The Frenchies are getting WAY sick of being stuck inside in the a/c, but we are supposed to have a few more very hot and humid days up here in New England, so we have to just stick it out.
Florida was WAY better all around. (I don't know, but that's what my MOM says)..... Gotta go eat lunch, Bye for now...

Thanks for all the pretty Rosettes from my Dogster friends. Today I got a big red heart. Thanks Angel and Dixie... That's funny because one of my favorite toys is an old heart that came off Emma's Gorilla. It is all beat up and ratty, but it says Love and I Do love it.
Mom is going to try and get some photos of me with my ears up. Both are up tall now. You will have to ignore the funny eye for now. I am still cute.
