April 5, 2013 The Day after my Birthday

Hi. Isn't my face beautiful after I finally got those puffy eyes fixed. Mom is relieved and thinks I look WAY better.
I was off to the vet on the day before my One Year Old birthday, some birthday present, but I came home that night. And I was just fine.
Well I didn't eat too much for a week, but now I am right back to normal. I can see better (don't have to look around those red bumps) and I can get my Mom's shoelaces and search in her pockets better. That's a good thing. Happy Spring Everybody.

Big Day- April 3,2013

Hi eberybody ( can't spell too good today, because my Mom is exhausted from her day of dogs, dogs and more dogs- and she is doing the typing for me. She was all stressed out because I went to get my eyes fixed today and also got spayded.... And to top it all off I had two baby teeth out (they couldn't fall out on their own, right)... Mom was really worried, becuase I am so little... and she has had bad luck spaying dogs in the past. So far so good with me. I am just home and I had a little supper and a drink of water. Now it's time for me to call it a night and cuddle into my snuggley bed. And Mom can go collapse. Hope you all had a nice Easter.... Tomorrow is my birthday.

It wasn't all that snowy today, but it was raining and cold and too bad to go outside. We all can't wait for Spring, we are getting really sick of being stuck inside a lot. I was trying to play with this horsie, but it wouldn't play back.
Mom is running out of ways to keep me occupied... Now she just gave me a little fish nylabone.... yeah, this is a lot of fun. She said this was my special toy, since the Frenchies would swallow it whole.

February 9, 2013 The Blizzard

Well it IS a blizzard around here. It snowed and the wind howled all night. I got to go to sleep in my crate with two bedspreads covering the crate and a coat over the front. Mom was worried that the power would go off during the night and we would all freeze... Luckily we are all ok.
The snow was so deep this morning that we couldn't even get the doors open to go outside. It was so deep that she was going to take photos, but I can't go outside anyway, so there is no point.
Mom spent the morning shoveling, (we need a snowblower Mom) and then we all ran out and did what we had to and then ran back in REALLY fast.
Not nice around here. We all hate snow. Think we better move.

Hurrah, my picture is on, so you can all see my new favorite toy. Mom seems to get very upset at me, but I love to tug that huge rug all over the kitchen when I have to work off some steam.
I am kind of tired today because Robin and I went out to an antique store and I got to see all the good stuff. Then we took a walk together through a cute little tourist town in Rhode Island. We could do that today, because it was 50 degrees and beautiful outside (for about an hour), but it was better than nothing. Tomorrow it's back to dragging around the rug.

january 27, 2013 Cold.....

As you can see my my new photo, I am having a "cabin fever" fit. It is hard to stay in the house, so I am finding ways to amuse myself. Mom is glad that's not a good rug.

Merry Christmas 2012

Merry Christmas to everyone... This is my first Christmas, so I don't know what to expect. Maybe I will get a present. Mario says we get presents today, but I didn't get nothing yet, so he could be fooling me. All I got to do so far is dip my little tiny feet in the snow that's outside this morning. Mom made me come in right away....

December 14, 2012 Long time, no writing

Hi everyone. It HAS been a long time since I got a chance to write. Hope everyone has a wonderful safe happy holiday. I still have to get my eyes fixed (one of these days), but they don't bother me..
This is a picture of my Dad holding me. Too bad he is wrinkling up my new Christmas sweater. That's why I am giving him the eye... Better not wrinkle my clothes.
I have been having lots of fun today, playing outside with Mario and Robin, my two Frenchie buddies. Mom says pretty soon it will be way to cold for me to go outside. Maybe if I run really fast outside I can keep warm. We will see...

November 1,2012 Hurricane

We made it through the storm, no trees fell on us, and HURRAY the power finally went back on. That was only 5 days, not like last year when it was off for 10 days. La La is very happy that she is not going to be a freezing chihuahua now. And we are all VERY happy that we have water now and don't have to lug buckets from the pond.

October 2, 2012 Get ready to Bark

Today the first group of workers are coming (in one hour) to start drying out the ceiling, and the walls, and rip down some stuff. I am getting my barking voice in gear, and Mom is getting out the Anacin. One more hour of peace before they get here. It's going to be a LONG day.
