What's New Pussycat?

When mommy took me out last night, there was this kitty hanging around outside. Mom says her name is Kitty and she belongs to the people who live downstairs from us. I like to call them the Treat People because they always give me a treat. (When daddy took me out earlier I decided to just barge into their apartment to see if I could get a treat!) Kitty and I stood and stared at each other. I was veeeeeeeeeeery still, and mommy kept telling me to stay. Kitty slowly walked up to me, but I was a good girl, I stayed still. Kitty meowed at me and mommy, and I still stayed still. Kitty did this AMAZING trick of sticking her leg straight in the air and licking herself, and I still remained still. Then Kitty rolled over onto her back and I knew that meant "PLAY WITH ME", so I jumped to go say hi, but Kitty ran off :( She was teasing me! Mommy said I moved too fast, but I think I heard Kitty laughing at me! Mommy and I sat still and waited to see if Kitty would come back, but she just crouched down in the shadows. Silly Kitty!

Stones and Snow

It snowed the other day (and I'm told it's Spring!) and on my morning walk I found this great toy! Daddy says it's a rock. I kicked it around in the snow, making a snowball with it, and then daddy would unbury it and throw it for me to kick around again. It was so much fun!!! I wanted to keep playing, but it was breakfast time, so mommy told me to pick it up and bring it inside, which I did, but I left it outside the apartment door... it's no fun without the snow! Daddy says it's my pet rock, but I don't know, it just SITS there, doing nothing. What a boring pet!

Fresh Air & Fun!!!!!

Mommy & daddy took me and my brother and sister for a nice walk/hike the other day. It was still a bit snowy/icy on the ground, but when daddy let me off my leash, I didn't care! I ran and played with my daddy's doggie brother, Rubgy, a lab/chow mix. I also got to meet my other grandma's new doggie, a shephard named Nyree. There were so many dogs and people at the reserve that I had such a great time. One big lab came running up, wanting to play, but when he jumped at me, I shrieked! Daddy called me silly, but the doggie scared me! Mommy carried my sister Daisy almost the whole way, and at one point, my brother Coco yanked his leash out of grandma's hand and chased after me and Rugby. Boy was he upset when daddy caught him and made him walk on the leash some more. I can't wait to do it again :)
