The story of my beginnins

Zoe, Zaidie and MJF have all asked how I got to be at a rescue. Well, there is a sad story behind it, but more for my dog pawrents than me. There was this human, bout 22 or so human years old, just back from the middle east, has post traumatic stress syndrome, getting a divorce from his wife, he called RPSM and asked if they would take his male Doberman because he’s having to move back in with his mom. They said absolutely (one of the ladies there is a big dober lover and has dobies of her own). While they were making arrangements, she got another call from him the next day “She’s havin babies on the couch” he screamed. She said, “who’s havin babies?” He said “The dog!” She said “I thought you had a male?” He said “I do but I also have a female and another female dog” She was on the phone with him for over 2 hours. This guy’s awful young to have so many bad things happenin in his life. He didn’t even know my dobie mommy was pregnant with me. He was only feedin my mommy 1 can of Alpo a day. So RPSM told him “we’re comin to get all your dogs.” And they did. When I was 2 days old I left with the rest of the pack for the shelter. Us 9 puppies stayed with my dog mommy for awhile, then when we were old enough we went to different fosters. I went with a brother and sister and my mommy one place and other pups went other places.

I’m one of the lucky ones that got adopted. 5 of my siblings still don’t have a home, and one of them is waiting for an important heart surgery.

So that’s the story of my beginnins. Already I’m sorta likin my new family and I think we’re a pretty good pack. I’m tryin to behave and all and all, mommy says I’m doin pretty darn good for only bein here a few days and still only bein so many days old.

Thanks for askin about me pals!

So glad you got a good furever home, Titan. Hope your siblings are lucky like you.

As far as the guy who gave you up, yes, feel sorry fur the PTSD, divorce and other stuff and glad he called fur help. But the dog situation is TOTALLY his fault! This did not have to happen! Terribly irresponsible! Now the pups are payin' the price:(

Awww! Such a sad tale. Growlmy is almost in tears thinking about all this nasty junk.
Thankfurly that young man knew when he was over the top, never-mind all the other issues playing in this story.

I am so glad that you are a healthy pup, none the less. I sure hope that all the other pups and adults get great furevfur homes, too.

Thanks for sharing, it must be hard fur your Mommy to relate all of this to us.

Woofs, wags & licks!

Happy Easter!

Wow, big little buddy. That is some story. We are sure your sibs will find furever homes.
We hope the young soldier will get the help he needs with his PTSD and be able to move on in his life. That is rough to have so many bad things happen and only be 22 to boot.
And we are really glad you have a super duper home! Now just stop peeing in the house.

Titan, you've joined a wonderful family that will shower you with love. We hope that it turns out the same for siblings and Mom.

Bad things happen soemtimes - I know this for a fact. Now it's time listen to your new big sisters and learn from them.

I need to add that you should immediately stop peeing on Chance's bed as that's just not acceptable.

I hope your former human gets the help he needs so he too can move on with his life.

We're so sorry your original "daddy" had to let you go, but seems he was overwhelmed with things. But we're happy he did the right thing and call the RPSM rather than dump you like some people probably would have. You lucked out and hit the jackpot on finding the perfect furever home. We know you'll be a happy boy there. Now...if we can just get you to stop pee-peeing we'll be doing good. BOL :)

I'm pretty glad I'm here too. I like given mommy and daddy kisses. But if daddy lets me kiss his chin too long, then I nibble on his whiskers and mommy makes me stop. Yea, sad story but happy ending for me. Oops, just a little dribble on the corner of her bed...I was pickin up a toy over that way and it was just my time. I know, I know. I told her I'd stop if she'd play more with me
