Staying awake late

We should be asleep by now (it is 11:435pm), but we are not. It was pretty warm today so during our walk we decided to walk mom back home and lay in front of the water bowl. Right now we are laying in front of the fan mommy turned on for us so hopefully we will be asleep soon after we cool down. Tomorrow mom is plotting on getting us tired if she has to chase us around herself, we can see it in her devious smile. Well tata for now. Love Anook and Meisha

we went to the park with mom and dad today. we played ball and chased each other around. (MEISHA)- i like to chase my sister ANOOK and grab on to her tail until she stops running. HEHEHEHE (ANOOK)-I think i scare my mom some times when i make a scary grrr face at my sister when we play. But we are just having fun. Well another day and we are now laying in front of the door crashed for the night. love ya all ANOOK and MEISHA

From Anooks mommy

Poor Anook, for anyone not having met Anook before she has the unfortunate dealings of an extra thick coat. Don't me wrong, it is beautiful and soft but supper thick. Tonight i felt so bad because after scolding her about not going to bed when she was still awake at 12a.m., she was still awake being fussy, i finally figured out that she was hot. So tonight my Anook is sleeping with a fan. (not looking forward to the sdge bill this summer) See you soon, Cin

Thursday I had to protect my sister today at the dog park

Today me and my sister Meisha went to the dog park again and I had to stand up for my little sister. Meisha likes to lick every other dogs face to show love and even though I think it is cute, the really big Doberman Pincher did not think it was. I quickly ran to her assistance when i heard her yell because after all it is my job to protect her. Mom and his owner stopped us of course, because mom doesn't let me fight. So that was our day. Playing in the rain and making new friends

mom took us to the dog park today and we got to play in the rain for the first time. Me and Meisha had a good time. We even made some new friends, an beautiful Australian Shepard that was very obsessed with her ball (it was funny) and a Pretty yellow lab that I felt bad for. She has to knee replacements and a hip replacement. She was very loved by her mom because they rescued her even though she had to have this surgery. It was a fun day until mom made us take a bath. another day at the dog park running and playing. But tomorrow we get to go to dogtopia and have a play date with a large group of other huskies, we can't wait, Anook Oh yeah and i got a hair trim that i didn't really enjoy

Remembering bringing Meisha home

i remember when my mom brought my sister home from my real mom and dad.

I rarely get to see my siblings but i remember thinking "did they have to bring one home?" i love playing with other dogs but sharing my mom and dad is a whole other ballgame.

she followed me everywhere and i had to share everything. i know it was immature but i stopped hugging my mom and i gave everyone dirty looks after that.

i guess i am used to her now because i don't mind sharing my family now i guess it is okay if she uses my stuff. now i see that the whole family snuggles both of us all the time.

my mom says i am a good big sister because i protect Meisha at the park and i teach her to follow directions the way i do.

i guess i like her, okay i might love her, but don';t tell anyone i said that. thanks for listening, Anook

PLEASE SAY A PRAYER FOR ANOOK & MEISHA

this morning my girls woke up sick,

boogies, coughing, spitting up not eating.

we went straight to the vet and he said that it was most likely caught at the dog park.

they were given a shot of penicillin and on antibiotics 2 times a day and cough medicine.

but ANOOK has not moved since we got home 9 hours ago.

we are forcing her to drink using a syringe and we carried her outside to use the restroom. (69lbs) poor baby couldn't sit up enough to pee so i picked her up and let her go against me.

i carried her back in cleaned her up and put her back to bed.

her breathing is different not really laboring but it is not normal. please keep her in your prayers cuz honestly i am scared. luv and health cin

p.s. Meisha is sick also but she has no problem moving, eating or breathing thanks for listening

Anook still real sick

Meisha seems better, but Anook...

She still will not stand very long, and today i could only get her to pee once.

i have to carry her outside, give her pedialyte with a syringe,gave her a few straws of oatmeal, i have a cool mist humidifyer on for her.

her breathing has improved but other than that not much else
i will be calling the Dr. first thing in the morning

Waiting for the vet to call back

so Anook is still laying down but we were over the moon this morning when we saw her stand up.

she didn't walk around or anything but it is a start.

i am going to pulverize some low fat low sodium health choice soup and try to syringe that to Anook now.

Meisha is still stuffed up (her nose) it is runny and crusty (poor baby) and she is doing this weird shaky thing.

But to everyone keeping us in you thoughts thank you so much it is helpful beyond belief
