Arrival Story: We don’t know a whole lot about Topher’s past but one thing is for sure – whoever gave him up made a HUGE mistake. Topher is incredibly adorable, sweet and loving. When he reaches out his little paw attached to that little corgi sized leg, you just want to melt!
Topher is just about 1 year old. He’s young and inquisitive but doesn’t get into anything he shouldn’t. He responds to commands and knows “sit” pretty solidly. He loves to chew bones, play with toys and run with the other dogs in his foster home. The fact that the other dogs are 50+ lbs. doesn’t phase him at all.
Bio: Topher’s personality would make him a fantastic family pet or companion for a single person. He is sociable so having other dogs to play with, at least as play dates, would be great for him.
Topher is working on the whole house training thing. He is getting better every day. Because he was only recently neutered, he had a tendency to lift his leg to “mark” his territory for the rest of the dogs when he first arrived. He has calmed down on that. We do keep a belly band on him to catch any accidents and he wears it without an issue.
Topher is up to date on all shots and preventatives and looking for a loving family to call his own. Could that be you?
Topher is being fostered in Langhorne, PA by a foster home volunteer with Rogers' Rescues.
