Arrival Story: I was 7 or 8 when I got Coco for my Bithday! First thing I did was place a Birthday hat on her!! She looked at me and gave me a kiss! :) I was So Happy. When I got her she was already about 3Yrs old! She was the BEST CHOW I have ever had.. well ok the ONLY chow I have ever had!! She loved to play, Loved to be brushed and loved Belly rubs! She followed me every where and maybe I followed her every where as well! We would play together and as I got older and had friends come and stay the night I couldn't figure out why they where scared of her when she was the sweetest girl ever! One friend told me it was because she looked like a bear in the face but had a "Mane" like a lion!! Eventually she won the hearts of my friends and anyone that she ever come in contact with. They always found out she was the sweetest girl and wouldn't hurt a fly. :) In the middle of 2006 she started losing her hair so I took her to the vet, He said due to her age she was 12 1/2 Yrs..:( That her Immune System was shutting down.. I did all I could to give her the best and most comfortable life until it was her time to go... One day I noticed she was bleeding whenever she would walk.. So I took her to the vets and he said that the meds and the special bath for her skin was no longer working and that she was in pain..:( I made a tough decision but the best one for her and had her put down in 2007 at the age of 13Yrs! Oh how I miss you Coco! She was my first Baby and First and ONLY Chow since then! Your always with me CoCo!
