Birthday: September 10th 2006 Arrival Story: Dingo came to me from a very bad situation. He was being kept in a small pen with his two larger brothers. His brothers were constantly attacking him and they actually bit off a large portion of his ear. Bio: Dingo was a tough case. I worked with him for awhile, but he never seemed to be able to relax. I kept him inside and he would be extremely anxious the entire time, to the point of him just sitting and shaking for hours at a time. When I let him out at night he would get scared and not want to come back in. I had to follow him until he would stop and then sometimes he would even bite me when I touched him. I have another dog that is very anxious inside, but is relaxed and happy living outside, so I tried that with him and he just stood outside and barked for me to come and get him for hours at a time. I worked with him for nearly a year and he just kept getting worse and worse. I finally had Dingo put down. It is the biggest regret of my life. I just can't help thinking that if I had just kept him a bit longer that I could have pulled him through all of this. He is the reason I still take on the hard cases today and he is reason I no longer give up on them even in the most drastic times.
