UPS Package For Me??

The UPS man came to the house last Friday and of course I went in "guard my owner/property mode" and started barking. I was a good girl and went to my kennel so my owner could answer the door. Then I heard the UPS man say, "I have a package for Willow!" My ears shot up as I heard my name. Who could be sending me a package? I don't think my doggie friends on here have my address. Now I know, my sweet owner's mom. Guess what she sent? I'll give you a few seconds to think. Second..Second..ok times up. She sent me enough dog food to last a whole month! She also sent me two more toys to play with outside.

I want her to start packing to move down here right now! We are gonna have so much fun. I think she gets her hearing thingy activated this Friday. Hope then she'll be able to hear...but if not I'll still alert her when the phone rings, somebody comes to the door, when I want to go outside, and when its time to play. No big deal, we dogs are supposed to help our humans when we can. Especially when they love us and give us a good home!! Oh yea, I'm still the Queen of My Domain, Willow

Shout Out to My Owner's Mom

Hey there...Hope you feel better soon!!

Let me explain to my doggie friends, my owner's mom had a hearing implant operation. I think her hearing just stopped working all of a sudden. My owner and I just told her to come down and we'll take care of her. So I'm counting the days until she moves down here with us. I can't wait...cause she and I get along great. I can always get her to take me outside in the yard whenever I want. Plus she always brings or sends me great presents.

WHAT???.....SNOW!!!!!

I wish I was in New Jersey with my owner's mom. They have SNOW!! I'd love to be rolling in some snow right about now. It's almost better than playing in the rain, which is one of my favorite things to do!

You Will Be Missed "Duchess"

Feeling sad today because I found out that one of my pals passed away yesterday 1/14/12. "Duchess" was one of my very first friends here on Dogster. She will be missed!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Hope you all are enjoying your holiday! Even though I was sometimes not such a good girl I did get presents. I got a nice rug to go in my kennel, I got my new frisbee, and a new chew toy.

My owner has to work tonight so I'm going to be a good girl and let him get some sleep this afternoon. We spent alot of quality time together today. He took me for a nice walk and we played frisbee which is my favorite game. This was a great "First Christmas in my new home!"

Loving My Life

I'm happy that I have a new owner, who loves me and takes care of me. He adopted me from the rescue center. I was taken to the rescue center after I got beat up by some dogs. I had a bad cut on my neck too. Now my owner makes sure nothing happens to me and I make sure nothing happens to him. Yeah sure, sometimes he tries to ignore me BUT that's only because he's trying to get some sleep before he goes to work. Anyway, we already know how I handled that situation, so he doesn't ignore me too often..LOL My owner and I are a great match. I love it when he plays frisbee with me. Oh and he takes me for rides in the car. When his mom came to visit in Nov, we all went to Asheville, NC. We rode through the Blue Ridge Mountains and stopped at different points to get out and look at the mountain range. We went so high at one spot there was snow on all the trees. My owner and I ran through the snowy grass and I even rolled around for a while. It felt great! Glad that I'm finally, Loving My Life!

Another Human Companion??

Well I overheard my owner talking to his Mom and sounds like she may be coming to live with us next year. She came to visit in November. At first I wasn't sure about her at all. Then I realized she was really nice because she brought me toys. A fleece doggie doll and a chew toy that is just divine. But I still kept my eye on her and if she got out of line I'd bark. Well being the "Queen of My Domain", I had to show her who was the boss right from the start. She walked up behind me too fast and I had to grab her wrist (not tight) but just enough to let her know she entered my personal space. After that we were fine. She actually was alot of fun because whenever I wanted to play or just have a nice back rub or be let outside, she was right there at my command. I always showered her with doggie kisses to let her know we were best of friends. It was a great couple of weeks but she had to go back home to NJ and I was sad. So if she comes to live here I'm alright with it because she's really sweet and fun. Only thing is I'm just getting my owner to learn the rules now I've got to train another human companion. Guess a dog's work is just never done!

I'm Not To Be Ignored!

As my diary says I am the Queen of My Domain!! My owner thinks he is running the show but oh no that's not the case, but Shhh don't tell him I said that. Well the other day he was taking a nap and I wanted to play. He thought he could ignore me. Hmmph, I went in the kitchen got the pot holder and dish towel. You know what happened next right? Well I chewed them up and left them on the coffee table for him to see. Of course I had sense enough not to eat or swallow the cloth, yuckk. Then I saw something that caught my eye. He has these cardboard coasters with pictures of Super Heroes on them (think he likes the Wolverine) and I chewed them up too but hid them in my kennel. Oops, he did find them. Of course he wasn't too happy with me..BUT..now he knows, I'm Not To Be Ignored!
