Rest In Peace Humphrey

As I write your entry today I see you in the backyard. You had your times where you were (let's call it) protective. You had people you liked and did not like, but, don't we all. lol

I see you jumping, I see you obeying commands, I see you playing fetch and retrieve, I see you being stubborn and staying out in the rain instead of going into your dog house.

You were definitely a one of a kind pup with a whole lot of personality. You loved us, you protected us, you gave us good laughs and you always smiled for the camera. You were not with us very long, only 4 years but it was better than never having you at all. I thank God that I was given you, like all our other Precious PoohCheez's. Your unique characteristic was the way you gave us hugs.

Humphrey we all miss you and you will remain forever in our hearts. At night when Big E comes in it brings back the memories of you trampling over everyone to get inside, happy to sit on the couch and watch Animal Planet with Bella.

Humphrey is in Heaven now

It had been a while since I was here with everyone. Humphrey passed away on Jan. 1, 2012. It has brought some great sadness to his family and fellow doggie brothers and sisters, especially Saige. She goes out to where he is buried and lays on top of his tomb. Humphrey we loved you so much in life and we still love you even though you are not with us any more, one day we will be together again, you are our guardian Angel, watching over and still protecting us. May you RIP my dear buddy.

I was a bad dog

Today Daddy noticed where I had been diggin. I heard him say to Mommy,"Humphrey is digging up the gas line". Mommy turned to me and asked in her really sweet voive, "Humphrey did you think you buried a bone there?", and she gave me a nice rub behind the ear. Then she told me, "stop that digging, that is dangerous". Mommy said she would get the shovel and fill in the hole. Daddy asked me if I was crazy?

Mommy and Daddy are not sure why I started digging...and to be honest with ya, I am not sure why either. I am just a dog you know.

Sleeping indoors

I have been lazy lately. When the weather is what Mommy calls extreme for the animals, us outdoor pups sleep indoors. I have been sleeping late since I am indoors. The noises of nature don't wake me up.
