So mom got up, after I hogged all of the covers all night! :) And took me and Darcy for a walk. It was great! I was chasing leaves down the road and staring at the mini-horses. Had some amazing smells in the cemetery (no not dead bodies!). When we got home mom said she had to go to town to get a package from the post office. Well, that got my tail going!

Mom took me out the gate and I trotted right over to the truck. She put me in and I went right in the crate! Shoot! The last time I went in the truck I met a bunch of people and walked around town. Who knows? Might happen again!

Well we get to the post office and mom comes out with a box. She tells me that in the box is a happy light. What? It's a light that will make mom happy somehow in the winter... Hmmmmm...

Well then we went down the road and the next thing I know we've stopped and mom is opening up the crate. Yippeee!! Score!! So I get out of the truck and there is a work crew who stopped cutting grass and said hello to me and mom. Yess, I'm on a roll. We went a different way this time and I got to meet and see more people. I saw my first electric wheelchair. Pretty cool, didn't smell like anything special but I checked it all out anyway! Then we met a guy who noticed the closer he was getting (he was walking towards us) the more my tail would swing! He stopped, asked my name, gave me lotsa pets and said have a nice day. Score big time!!

Then we walked past the lake and I saw the ducks and geese. I wish I could chase them. But mom will stand with me while I just watch them - fascinating creatures! Met some more people and children along the way. We got to the top of the lake and there is a little walking bridge. Hey, there is that nice man again! Well he stopped again and said Hi Grunt. He told mom that his daugher has a young dog whom she name Scud. Ha! Love that name!

Then we made it back to the truck and I was ready to head home. Darcy and I played for a bit! Mom giggled, she said we both had martian paws from the cut green grass! Ha!!
