Its a sad day here in the Nutley household,Mommy and Daddy went to the RSPCA to meet Flake and a few other dogs,sadly they could not meet Flake as the lady there said he would not be able to be insured.
Flake was born with hip dysplasia so will need an operation and probably a lifetime of care. Sadly without insurance Mommy and Daddy would not be able to afford this is the long term. Poor Mommy is really upset as she really wanted to help Flake,they are still going to phone their insurance to see if they can get insurance,my Mommy is so determined!!
They took Rossco with them to the shelter,sadly I was too poorly to go,and in Rossco style he let the side down by growling at a pup. Mommy said the pup was too much of a handful for me to cope with anyway and we need a more quiet and mature doggy to join our family.
I have been very sleepy today and all I want to do is rest and be quiet so a quiet day today with lots of chill out time.

So sorry you couldn't bring Flake home and praying he will get the surgery he needs. It is so very expensive and most insurance companies won't cover pre exsisting conditions for furbabies or hoomans.

Molly you keep resting sweet girl! Can Flake have FHO surgery for her HD? That is the surgery I had for mine and it a WHOLE lot cheaper than the other surgeries? Sometimes pups with HD can benefit from meds but maybe Flakes is too far advanced. We will pray for Flake also!

Hang in there Molly. Sorry to hear that Flake has to have surgery...Maybe Flake isn't a good match for your family? We will pray someone comes along that can give Flake all he needs. You take care of yourself. Kisses, Mazy

Hi there Lexi,the RSPCA have assured us that Flake will get the surgery and they will find him a loving hopefully with other collies,so that made Mommy happy.

Hi Molly,the RSPCA are going to pay for his surgery its just that no insurance company will insure poor Flake even though he would have had the surgery,its madness to us.

Hi Mazy, I think you are right Mommy and Daddy have talked and spoke to the insurance company and they would not insure Flake,Mommy spoke to the RSPCA and they said he will find a family,its still upset Mommy.
