Pearl is getting there!
She knows sit, and she knows watch me, but for some reason, down is really not coming. She can be a little slow to learn sometimes, but she's been through so much that I can hardly blame her.
She's still really touchy about her feet and elbows when she's lying down. She'll growl and snap if I disturb her when she's napping.
She still barks. Some days it's a lot, some days she's really quiet. She also talks a lot, BOL!
Winnie Mae and Pearl are great friends though. Pearl never wants to be away from her!
A few weeks ago we took the girls to the groomer at 9:20 and picked them up at four. Pearl was so mad at me. It was a setback in her training. Now we're back to where we were before the groomer, and before I left town without her (she stayed with my brothers and my aunt and uncle).
She sleeps on my bed with Winnie :D TWO little warm fuzzies on my feet!
Leave A Comment | 2 people already have Oh man, I remember trying to teach down to Jewel! I think it took us like 6 months to really get it, I've heard that some small dogs just don't like it.
Stick with it, "down" is now what Jewel uses to beg! Thanks, Jewel!
