Hello pupses. I haven't been on dogster for a couple days, been busy, busy, busy.

Oh before I forget, you HAVE to check out this dog video. It's the funniest thing ever. Demon Flash Bandit, I think you're really gonna like it, looks like somethin you'd appreciate. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGeKSiCQkPw, that's the link.

Mommy took me to the woods (it's really a nature park, but we call it 'the woods') again today. I LOVE it there. Again, no other humans or dogs around so we went off leash and we were goin down a trail and Mommy saw it, then I saw it...it was a squirrel jumpin down off a tree and across the trail. I took off after it, but Mommy said 'Destiny, no, come here', so I had to listen pals. I think our pal Jarvis may have been watching from above and might have been disappointed I didn't get to chase it down, but I had to listen.

Have any of you ever had a tick on them? One of the downfalls on going into the woods are those stinkin ticks. Luckily Mommy found it on me and took some tweasers and pulled it out. It left a bump on my neck but Daddy took the specimen to the vet to see if the head was attached and after they put it under a microscope, they said it was. Whew, hopefully I'm ok and don't get that lime, orange, bananna, whatever that fruity disease is.

And, yeah, I has gotten ticks on me befure. I use Frontline Plus to try to keep them away, plus I get the Lyme disease vaccine.

Those nasty ticks! UGH!
Growlmy checks me everytime I come in from one of my jaunts.
And has picked off quite a few over the years!
Mostly they haven't 'stuck on' yet.

I never had a tick on me yet..but I love running thru the leaves. Mom always checks me.

Mommy says they're hard to find. She checked me over when we got back and didn't find anything and it was two days later sittin on the couch, pettin me, she found a little bump on my neck and walla, it was a tick. She was sad she missed it the first time but even with my short hair, it was disguised and hiding under my hair. Ugh!
