Doggie Dynamics:

Quick Bio:

May 23rd 2010

When daddy comes home. He likes sitting in my lap when I'm watching tv. He even has this thing where he wants to sit in the drivers seat when we go somewhere, but he's learning his spot is not behind the wheel. I like that he always rest his head on me

Favorite Toy:
I have not found a favorite toy for Pinto. I've tried to get him to play with a ball but he just watches it as it rolls by and then steps around it.

Favorite Food:
Pinto is eating Eukanuba Puppy and has no complaints (according to his empty bowl after he eats)

Favorite Walk:
He like's walking around the complex and we've gone to a park with runners, other dogs and even kids. He still gets anxious around others so I'm wanting to expose him to different settings

Best Tricks:
I'm anxiously awaiting to see what it is myself.

Arrival Story:
I had a cat for about a year but she left me after while; I guess she was an outdoor cat living in my indoor home. I'd always wanted a puppy of my own. We grew up with dogs as kids and when I was in the Army, I'd adopted a dog. Unfortunately, I was being deployed unexpectedly and had to take him back to the shelter. Years went by and while I wanted my own purebred pup, timing wasn't in my favor to care for a pup with my work schedule. My schedule changed and I started wondering what type of dog would be a good fit. After while, I came up with a Miniature Pinscher; good for condo living, city-dwelling, small, clean, proud lil doggie. I searched online after reading and found a breeder in the sticks of central Virgina and drove some 3.5 hours from DC Metro; MD to meet him to see if we'd be a good fit. I came up with his name while driving back home and it sort of just came to me. He's small and a PINscher catagorized as a TOy dog so I named him Pinto (the old Ford Pinto was also in mind cuz it was a small car). I've had him since November 2010 and he's become my new BFF (lol). We're in Puppy Training and he's very stubborn and is everywhere else except paying attention, but that's how he is for now (until I teach him). According to the Vet, he's in good health and just had his last 2 baby teeth pulled, been nuetered and now he's micro-chipped so we're good to go.
