Best Tricks: giving high-five, barking when asked "How much do you love me?" The basics...Sit, down, Stay and crate up!
Arrival Story: I was looking through the newspaper for a Yellow Lab. We wanted a male and one old enough to start potty training as we have the summers off. I found a "back yard" breeder (I didn't know better back then) that had 1 male and 3 females, 12 weeks old.
I went to the breeders home to see the pups with my best friend, He came running out and it was love at first sight! When we went around back of the house to see the parents there was a plastic baby pool outside of the kennel, this little guy jumped right in and started swimming in circles! Our other lab "Evo" had never taken to the water and I was tickled that this guy was going to be a swimmer! We left the breeders without him, got about 1 mile and I called my husband to say I had fallen in love. He asked me if I was bringing him home and I ask if I could? (i thought we would think about it over night and go back later) He said he would go up in the attic to pull down the crate! I pulled over, called the breeder and headed back to pick up my new baby! He was given a bath before we took him and slept like a little baby the whole way home in my friends arms!
Bio: Stator was brought to live with us in hopes of bringing new life to our aging black lab "Evo". Stator was able to enjoy Evo's company for almost a year before Evo passed at the age of 12 (cancer). Stator has an incredible personality. He loves his canine and human friends. He loves to run, swim and play "ruff" with dogs his size. He has a on/off switch that is stuck "on"! He keeps on going long after he is exhausted!
He loves a ride in the car. Most of all he loves to visits to his summer home where the dog park has a lake for swimming. He has tons of fureinds in Myrtle Beach now and knows when we are loading up the van we are heading south! He is spoiled rotten and gets just about anything he wants.
Some people get upset that my mom calls me FatBoy....It's all to do with the motorcycle! Promise!

Forums Motto: SHOW ME THE MUD!
I have been tagged by my buddy Finn!
So, I will make 5 wishes (a dog can never have too many wishes), and I'll tag 5 other special friends!
1. I wish my dog bowl was BIGGER and mom put more food in it!
2. I wish I had a never ending bone!
3. I wish water taste like beer!
4. I wish eating poop wasn't taboo! (mom won't let me kiss her afterwards)
5. I wish mom was a 'stay at home mom' !
And now I'll tag 5 of my furends,
My first victim is Toby, my partner in nugget eating!
My second victim is my dawg The untouchable Jeb!
My third victim is the coolest LBD MacT!
Dang we hate these things! But it seems another round of tag is making it's way around dogster, BOL! ;) I was tagged by my pals Marlowe, Sammy and Rook!
Here are the rules:
I think every pup knows the basic tag rules, but because it’s Thanksgiving time, there is a change to the rules. I get to tell ya about 7 things that I am thankful for and then tag 7 pals and tell them about it with a pmail or a rosette. Then those pups get to write in their diary, tag and notify 7 pals, and on it goes....
Seven things I’m thankful for:
1.) I am thankful for BEER!
2.) I am thankful I am thankful dad wanted a boy pup and I was the only male left in the litter!
3.) I am thankful dad sleeps on the couch and I can sleep on his pillow!
4.) I am thankful for Food! my two meals a day and anything I can con off anyone with my big brown eyes!
5.) I am thankful for BEER, dark lagers are best!
6.) I am thankful for water, great for swimming, drinking and cleaning off my paws so I can come in the house!
7.) I am thankful for my mom, dad and sister Roxy! I love them all!
I have been trying to hide this for a while.....
I have not been snuggling with mom as not to get to close she could smell it!
Yes pups, I have the dreaded ear infection! Fortunately it is only in one ear. My poor (Dog rest his sole) brother Evo use to get them all of the time, he warned me being a Lab and having those cute floppy ears had it's pitfalls and now I know what he meant! I am going to be 5 in April and this is the first one(knocking on wood) I have ever had. Not bad for a dog that loves, I mean LOVES water!
I guess I am somewhat relieved mom noticed cause it isn't out of control bad and she already has the ointment so I don't have to go to the vet “quite” yet. I will keep my paws crossed she can get it cleared up.
On another note Roxy and I had a freak near disaster tonight playing outside! She tells about it in her diary and to be honest if your in a multi-dog home you might want to read it! Scary stuff pup!
Well I need to go look labradorable for a cookie! WoOf! Stator
