Arrival Story:
Mick was a pup from a harlequin breeding that my breeder did. Unfortunately, due to the extremely complicated world of harlequin genetics, Mick is what's known as a "white". He's partially deaf, and doesn't see great, but other then that he's perfect! Due to his deficiencies, I ended up adopting Mick, it is not ethical to *sell* a dog with handicaps. Java and Mick first met when Mick was 6 weeks old, and Mick INSTANTLY took a liking to Java. We didn't take Mick home until he was 10 weeks, but for the four weeks in between I could not keep my mind off of him. I think it was those beautiful ice blue eyes that did me in. Anyway, when I couldn't stand it anymore, I called my breeder and told her "I can't live without him, I want to bring Mickey home!" I think secretly she was haning on to him hoping that I would crumble....
