Oh My Goodness Zak and I have been so busy here at our Angel Bluff Ranch that I have not had any extra time to write in my Diary until tonight.
The whole month of November was spent checking fence lines, making sure all the hay and grain was put up for all our horses, all the tack was oiled well for the cold harsh winter that is approaching and can cause such problems of drying out the leather., The gates to the paddocks are all in good shape and then came the holiday of Thanksgiving! We have so much to be thankful for and spent the day making dinner together and I must say, Zak's sage stuffing with wild rice and roasted chestnuts was the best I've ever eaten. We sipped our wine as we ate and talked about the many blessings that have been bestowed upon us and how we were looking forward to our First Christmas together which is also our 3 month wedding anniversary♥ What a special day it will be for us! We did some riding in the mountains together and stopped at our special place which holds so many memories and we also spent time just playing cards in front of the fireplace as we ate probably too many yummy snacks and we talked and talked.
Now it's Dec and Zak has our deck wrapped in cedar boughs with Christmas lights and a huge balsam wreath he made hung upon our front door and it looks so gorgeous! I made many suet balls that we will hang throughout the woods and made a mixture of grain for the bunnies which we will put through out the woods on Christmas Eve before we begin our celebration. We together filled all the deer feeders with pellets so all our furry and feathered friends in the woods will never go hungry during the winter. Together we made the apples dipped in molasses and rolled in sweet feed and they are tucked away in the tack room and each of our horses will receive one on Christmas morning. Shhh Raging Fire will probably get two. BOL!
So with everything caught up we are looking forwards to winter and spending time sliding down the huge hills on our tobbaggan and doing some snow shoeing as well as cross country skiing along with many nights snuggling in front of our fireplace.
I will write again after Christmas and let you know if we got snowed in for the holiday and our anniversary ;)
sounds like you have been real busy!!

Oh sweetheart, I sure do hope we get snowed in for Christmas - all that snow and no where to go.
I'll collect a whole lot of mistletoe and hang it over every door of our house too!
We'll have to snuggle up beside the fire after we've been out to check on the stock and feed them. Just think of all those Christmas chocolates we'll just have to eat, and the special bottle of cherry brandy we've been saving for Christmas - such hardship!
Forever loving you, my wonderful, beautiful wife. x x x x x x x
