 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: July 12th 2001
Likes: I love to lay out on the lounge chairs on the patio and sun myself! I also love when people give me bellyrubs! Oh, and Schubert the guinea pig -- he's my favorite friend!

Pet-Peeves: I hate when people knock on the door, especially the UPS guy. I also hate our neighbors big dog...he never shuts up and I can't get my beauty sleep! Oh, and who can forget the darn cat, Landon -- she gets on my nerves!

Favorite Toy: My chewed up toy that at one point was a little doll! And Chew-Lotta bones. They're fun but they take me forever to eat.

Favorite Food: I love French Toast! Along with everything I'm not supposed to have. That stuff is always the best!

Favorite Walk: I could run around the patio for hours! It's my favorite place to be. I love to walk to the neighborhood park, too, but the cars scare me and I make my humans carry me.

Best Tricks: I can sit on command, but that's about it. I can be cute, though, and that's what counts, right?!

Arrival Story: I was at Puppy Connection, a local overpriced puppy store, when my family came in and really loved me right off of the bat (and who could blame them?!). I was sick with worms, but they bought me and took good care of me. Now, I'm part of the family and such a spoiled little brat!

Bio: Hi! My name is Buttercup. I'm a long-haired chihuahua. I guess you can say I'm quite spoiled. Somtimes I forget I'm a dog and act like a person (or a cat -- but I hate cats!). I love to lay on the couch and watch TV with my owners. My favorite place in the world, though, is on our patio. I like to relax on the lounge chairs and soak up some sun. But I HATE the water! I'm sort of skeptical of new people and I tend to bark and growl at you a lot until I know you are not going to hurt anyone that I love. No one is really scared of little old me anyway, though. I'm affectionate, loving and my owners say I'm the best dog in the world!

Forums Motto: Build me up, Buttercup, baby!

I had a bath last night, and for some reason this made me totally wired! After my baths, I love to sit out on the patio and dry off in the nice, summer sun but it was already dark out! So what did I do? I ran like crazy around the house, up on the table, on the couch, over my owners who were watching TV -- I ran like crazy! ...then I passed out, fast asleep, on the rocking chair.

Oh, please tell me it's not true! I have FLEAS. And, oh boy, are they driving me nuts. I can't stop itching and scratching. My family washed all of my things and gave me medicine to make me better. It didn't work. My family also gave me a great, big bone to make me feel better. That actually worked more! But, once I got done chewing, I remembered my pesky little fleas.

So, picture this: Ninety-eight degrees out in good old South Florida; the weather is humid and my tongue is hanging out of the side of my mouth while I down a ton of water from my dish. Now, I normally am not too big on the water but I tried it again the other day and realized it kept me feeling cool despite the horrible heatwave that summer brought! My owners were all splish-splashing around in the pool and I deeply considered joining them. I rolled my Kong around the patio floor, trying to make up my mind about jumping in or staying dry. I eventually sucked it up and came in via the steps in the shallow end. My owners were laughing at me because I'm like a cat when it comes to water! One of my owner-sisters, Lindsay, picked me up and carried me into the middle of the pool. It was so relaxing! I paddled all the way back to the steps, and then back to where my owners were again! Summer really isn't that bad! Infact, I'm sort of having fun!
