Favorite Walk:
THrough the fields to chase rabbits... and once, a deer.

Arrival Story:
My family chose a breed, so I searched and searched for available pups... and I found our Leo. We watched him grow through pictures until we brought him home, and he is irreplaceable in our hearts.

Leo was my baby. He was a little over 120lbs at his full growth. There was a little rope on his bed... he ate it. We immediately took him to the vet, and they said he would pass it. He stared because he couldn't eat. We hand fed him cat food but he could not swallow. The vet refused to operate... only gave him pills to make him 'pass it'. It didn't work, only made Leo lose more weight. Finally after many appeals the vet agreed to operate. 7 feet of Leo's intestine had already died. He made it through surgery, the vet's heartless words, "He is stronger than we thought. We didn't know that he would make it through the surgery." But he did. We then had to drive Leo to an overnight pet hospital... only a 10 minute drive. He made it, and we remained there for several hours. I kissed Leo on the head and my family and I went to get some dinner. Less than an hour later we returned, and Leo was dead from internal bleeding. All this from a licensed vet. Leo lives on in our hearts. Check out your veterinarians.... Be careful. They have your friend's lives in their hands.
