Oh Mister Ben, it's been five months since you went to Rainbow Bridge, and my heart still breaks when I think of you. I know that's normal, and I did not want to see you in any more pain. You are in the best place now, full of love and kindness and pain-free in heaven. I can't wish you back knowing that cancer was in your lips, making you feel so bad. I am glad you are not suffering now, even though I miss you everyday.

I saw a bichon in the park yesterday, and his owners brought him over to me. He gave me kisses just like you used to, and his fur was exactly the same as yours. Just so soft and curly. He was almost as handsome as you, Ben. It was touching him that brought back all my memories. I am so glad I saved a snip of your fur and have it in my special memory box.

I love you Mister Ben, you were the best senior dog in the world.

Hi, Ben's mom. I'm Charis, and my mom is Snow and my brother is Marco.

Ben is still learning how to send a Dogster message from the Bridge, so I'm writing to you on his behalf. Ben said he's doing very well. His favorite thing about the Bridge is he can be at the Bridge and with you at the same time *all the time*!!

He is looking for a perfect friend for you, but taking a bit longer to find a good boy/girl, who looks like him. He is a perfectionist :>

Well, got go to check on my mom and brother, now. Oh one more thing, Ben wanted to remind you that he's always around you and loves when you talk to him :>

I'm so sorry that Ben had to cross over, and he is waiting to see you again. He said don't worry about him...he is doing great!

Momma thinks of Mr. Ben quite a lot. She wishes she had gotten to meet him here on Earth so she could have patted his fluffy white head. Miss you, little man.
