This is from our good pal, Minister Misty. We wanted to share it with other pals. We hope you enjoy it.
The Most Important Body Part
My mother used to ask me what is the most important part of the body and through the years I would take a guess at what I thought was the correct answer.
When I was younger I thought sound was very important to us as humans so I said my ears mommy.
She said "No, many people are deaf.
But you keep thinking about it and I will ask you again soon."
Several years passed before she asked me again. Since my last attempt I contemplated a correct answer.
So I told her "Mommy, sight is very important to everybody, so it must be our eyes." She looked at me and told me that I was learning fast but the answer is not correct because there are many people who are blind.
Stumped again I continued my quest for knowledge and over the years she asked me a couple more times and always the same answer "No.
But you are getting smarter every year my young child."
Then last year my Grandpa died.
Everybody was hurt.
Everybody was crying. Even my father cried.
I remember that especially because it is only the second time I saw him cry.
My Mom looked at me when it was our turn to say our final good-bye to Grandpa. She asked me "Do you know the most important body part yet my son?" And I was shocked she asked me this now.
I always thought this was a game between her and me.
She saw the confusion on my face and told me "This question is very important.
It shows that you have really lived in your life.
For every body part you gave me in the past I have told you that it was wrong and given you an example why.
But today is the day you need to learn this important lesson."
She looked down at me like only a mother can.
I saw her eyes well up with tears.
She said, "Son the most important body part is your shoulder.
" Was it because it held up my head?
She replied, "No, because it can hold the head of a friend or loved one when they cry.
Everybody needs a shoulder to cry on sometime in life my son.
I only hope that you have enough love and friends that you will always have a shoulder to cry on when you need it.
" Then and there I knew the most important body part was not selfish, it was sympathetic to the pain of OTHERS.
You are a friend and whenever you want you can cry on my shoulder!!!
People will forget what you said.
People will forget what you did, but People will never forget how you made them feel.

The Ten Commandments
This was posted on our pal Rinky's page. Mommy found it so beautiful she wanted it on my page too.
The 10 Commandments From a Pet's Point of View
by Stan Rawlinson
1. My life is likely to last 10 - 15 years;
any separation from you will be painful for me.
Remember that before you adopt me.
2. Give me time to understand what you want
from me; don't be impatient, short-tempered,
3. Place your trust in me and I will always
trust you back. Respect is earned, not given
as an inalienable right.
4. Don't be angry with me for long
and don't lock me up as punishment; I
am not capable of understanding why. I
only know I have been rejected. You
have your work, entertainment, and friends,
but I only have you.
5. Talk to me sometimes. Even if I don't
understand your words, I do understand
your voice and tone. You only have to
look at my tail.
6. Be aware that however you treat me,
I'll never forget it, and if it is cruel,
it may affect me forever.
7. Please don't hit me. I can't hit
back, but I can bite and scratch, and
I really don't ever want to do that.
8. Before you scold me for being
uncooperative, obstinate, or lazy,
ask yourself if something might be
bothering me. Perhaps I'm not getting
the right foods or I've been out in the
sun too long, or my heart is getting
old and weak. It may be I am just
9. Take care of me when I get old.
You too will grow old and may also
need love, care, comfort, and attention.
10. Go with me on difficult journeys.
Never say, "I can't bear to watch" or "Let
it happen in my absence." Everything is
easier for me if you are there. Remember,
regardless of what you do, I will always love you.

My Dearest Pals-Happy 4th. of July Weekend from the Bridge....I sure won't miss the boom-crackers at Lake 5. About 5 miles as the crow would fly... I Never did like them, because they reminded me of the noises that come with thunderstorms and tornadoes. This weekend,Angel Foxie and I will blow sweet angel kisses down on little Mazy.(Maybe it will Help Her? She Hates all loud noises... You can hear those boomers real clear at our house.)
Momma....Tomorrow, I have been gone a month. I love it here at the Bridge. Where we have perfect weather, lots of games to play, parties all the time and anything we want to eat. You should see, my healthy trim, fit body that is full of energy. Foxie and I run and play....
We have an Awesome time, no matter what we do....
Now what's up with you and Mazy????? I see somedays Mazy eats well and others she does not.... She's a hound and was always ready to eat! She always did yap at machinery and autos that were not Gpa's, as well as the garbage truck. (Those things are so Loud!) She decided last winter that maybe barking at the strong winds would scare them away. Now she is barking at LOTS of other things! The coal trains and tracks are 7 miles away... What's up with that????? Can't tell you, if she is being more Protective, now that I am gone? Or is she afraid?????
Maybe some of our pals down there have some insights on what is going on with the little munchkin?????? Hey pals, any tips for Gma?????
Before I leave, sending Big Birthday Wishes to Mazy! Little doxie, you will be 4 years old on July 6th. Have a Happy, happy birthday....
Can't wait to see what kind of pressies you receive. I'm so glad you decided it was okay to sleep on my new fluffly pillow bed. This is my gift to you.....
Pals...would you stop by my page and sign my guestbook??? Gma loves looking at your pictures while she listens to my music.
Lots of love and kisses, Angel Baby

This little poem showed up this week...Just when we needed it.
Thanks Radar,Wolf,Molly and Momma D. Angel Wyoming,Angel Cheyenne,Angel Foxie and Me (Angel Baby) were yappin': as loud as we could...to let Radar,Wolf and Molly know, Gma was having a tough day and feelin' mighty low...
Isn't it Wonderful, how God delivers just what we need, when we need it? Gma...Stop gettin' up at night to check on me! I'm sleepin' just fine from playin' all day long....Mazy even tried to sleep on your tummy last night....You still got up at 3:15 and came to my bed...
I thought of you with love today
But that is nothing new
I thought of you yesterday
And days before that too
I think of you in silence
I often speak your name
But all I have are memories
And your picture in a frame
Your memory is my keepsake
With which I'll never part
God has you in his keeping
I have you in my heart.
Godspeed Sweet Baby

Angel Baby passed to the Bridge 1 week ago today. Today is her gotcha day. We call today, her 19th Birthday. We’re sure there is a Big Party at the Bridge….Baby was a member of dogster only since:
Less than a year and everyone embraced her with so much LOVE…
We’re writing to Thank ALL the many, many furs who have sent cards, p-mails, poems, bridge writings, pictures, videos and stars, rainbows,
hearts, candles and wings…. Our Family is so Overwhelmed by the kindness, love, compassion and friendship shown our family. We made
a list of the furs, we’ve heard from…it is way over a 100! We are still receiving things…
There are still a lot of emotional moments in our days… We go to the entry, where Baby had her bed, endless times per day. It’s an autopilot
response….Baby, do you need to go out? Need a massage? How about fresh water? A snack, you didn’t eat your last meal? Just sit a couple minutes, talk to her and give her some affection. Rubbing her ears was her favorite. She had a homemade rug in the threshold of the door between the entry and the kitchen… She’d lay there, watch me work in the kitchen. I’d talk to her as I worked, knowing my voice soothed her
and gave her comfort.
While we are SAD and miss her so….Foxie and Baby are back together again…they were lifetime companions…We know that Foxie sat, waiting and watching for Baby’s arrival. Not able to contain her excitement of her fur-sis joining her once again. We celebrate the very long healthy life Baby had with us. She blessed our lives with her loving, easy going, sweet presence. We thank you all for everything you’ve done to make this time easier for our family.
May God Keep Each and Everyone of You Safe,
Gma Keda, Gpa Jim, Amazing Grace (a.k.a. Mazy) and Precious
Our Angel Baby

A Letter for Momma (sent by Minister Misty)
my dearest moomy keda.
When I Woke up this Morning I Felt Very Odd
I Don't Know Why, but I Felt Close to God
The Sun Was Shining, the Birds Were Singing
The Music Was Soft, the Bells Were Ringing
And Puppies Were Romping at Play
What a Pleasant Start of a Wonderful Day
I Remember Laying down to Take a Nap
I Remember I Had My Head in Her Lap
I Remember the Sad Look in Her Eye
I Remember I Had Never Seen Her Cry.
I Remember I Wanted to Ask Her Why
I Remember Hearing Her Say, Goodbye
I Wanted to Say Don't Cry for Me
I Wanted to Say, Just Remember Me
I Wanted to Say I Remember the Toys
I Wanted to Say I Remember the Joys
I Wanted to Say, I Love You So Much
I Wanted to Say, How I Loved Your Touch
Oh Please Let Me Hug You
Oh Please Let Me Kiss You
Oh Please Let Me Tell You
What an Angel You've Been
Oh Please Let Me Thank You
for Showing Me Him
I Knew When I Woke up
There Would Be No Pain
I Knew If I Wanted to
I Could Play in the Rain
I Knew That I Would Remember
the Love You Gave Me Forever
You've Taken Care of Me
All My Life You've Guarded Me from Trouble and Strife
You've Taken Care of Me thru Good and Bad
You've Always Stopped Me from Feeling Sad
You've Given Me Treats and Given Me Care
You've Told Me What to Expect When I Got There
So Please Don't Cry, Wipe the Tears from Your Eye
I'll Look down upon You and with a Woof and a Sigh
I'll Gather My Courage and March up to God and Ask Him
When You Get Here to Give You a Nod
for You Were My Master and You Were My Friend
and I'll Be Waiting for You at the Rainbows End.
Thank you Minister Misty...what comfort your delivery brings. These are just the things, this old gal would have said....Momma Keda

Baby passed to Rainbow Bridge last night. We will miss her always....She was the sweetest, most gentle, easy going soul....
We will celebrate her long, happy, safe life....Removed from the abuse she had known before Grandma found her on the county road.... We will rejoice that God allowed her to brighten our days for 15 yrs. She would have been 19 on her Gotcha Day June 10th. She will be laid to rest today, beside her lifetime play mate Angel Foxie. Their graves are covered with native North Dakota Granite as markers. Flowers will be kept on the site year round. We loved her too much to allow her to struggle and suffer. This past week, all of her bodies systems went haywire at once....Since she had a phobia of autos, we had our Vet Service come to our home. We did not want her to have an anxiety attack her last moments in this world. Her last day here, she laid under her favorite old cottonwood with sunshine and gentle breezes blowing on her. She ate a few tiny pieces of grilled chicken and ham. She had eaten very little in the previous few days. She started having seizures daily. Her blood pressure was very low. Out of the blue...getting up or down was a huge struggle. Her back legs and hips just didn't want to hold her. There were other issues too...her old,old body just wore out... The thing was she had reached the point of being in pain.
POEM AND PRAYER SENT TO MY FAMILY BY PASTOR MAX OF CDAC....THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH...THANK YOU FOR THE PICTURE, WE WILL ADD TO OUR PAGE.
As soon as we can....
My people are so precious, Lord;
I know you think so, too...
And I believe you put me here
To love them just for you!
They take such gentle care of me
And have such tender hearts...
Please use me, Lord, to comfort them
Whenever teardrops start.
They face a lot of battles
As they live and work each day...
They need me, Lord, to make them smile
And show them how to play!
The world is full of people,
But sometimes real friends are few...
Please let my love and loyalty
Remind them, Lord, of You.
And when my final moment comes,
Lord, tell them as we part...
I was a made-to-order gift
From Your great and loving heart!
When all our tears have reached the sea
part of you will live in me
way down deep in side my heart
the days keep coming without fail
new wind is gonna find your sail
that's where your journey starts.
You'll find better love
strong as it ever was
deep as the river runs
warm as the morning sun,
please remember me.
JUST 19 WORDS
GOD OUR FATHER,
WALK THROUGH MY HOUSE
AND TAKE AWAY ALL MY WORRIES AND ILLNESSES;
AND PLEASE WATCH OVER AND HEAL MY FAMILY
IN JESUS ' NAME.. AMEN
