IN OUR HEARTS

We thought of you will love Today
but that is nothing new.
We thought about you Yesterday and days before that too
We think of you in silence
we often speak your name.
Now all we have is memories
and your picture in a frame
your memory is our keepsake
with which we┬┤ll never part
God has you in his keeping ,
we have you in our heart

thank you Blackburn angel & family

First Thanksgiving Without Me....

Country Bridge Greetings

***************************************** ***********************
Momma...this is the 1st. Thanksgiving without Me! I know Mazy,Dad, Melissa and Jay, plus the grandkids will keep your day very busy and full.... I do miss McKenzie and Jaxcen alot...
They sure did grow alot in the last 6 months.

I'm very happy here with Foxie...We have just oodles of pals....Funs games and playing everyday. We have banquet tables filled with anything, we want to eat at anytime. We nap where and when we want too... We've been real busy greeting other senior pals that have crossed over the bridge. Showing them the ropes....

I see outta the Blue, the new Puter just shutdown....It does nothing????? Hummm, it is only a year old. I wonder why PC trouble always happens around Holidays?????? I see the service company has already called you. A big surprise that it happened as soon as they told you it would.(Was Mazy pawing around on it????)

Foxie and I giggled as we watched you crawl on the floor and try and take the puter apart as a techy person was instructing!
It was Funny! Anyway, you couldn't get it apart.... The person on the phone said, they'd be shipping a Mother Board to your house in a day or two. Will call you back to let you know it is on its way. Then you have to call them to schedule a techy service person to come to the house. Take your puter apart and put it back together...Make it work! I wonder if the guy, guessed the right item???? I wonder, if you'll get these other calls, as promptly as they said?????

Read your books, when your work is done....until they fix your puter. I see you are trying to limp along with the old one.... It doesn't do well with dogster at all. One time you can get around there pretty good and the next time not at all........
Even if, those service people do exactly what they told you...it will be after Thanksgiving before a person ever gets to the boonies to service your puter....

Tell Mazy, I miss the little stinker....Tell Precious, to perk up and not be such a lazy kitty! Quit dragging around there.....Tell them both, Foxie and I are having a wonderful time. We are happy, healthly and the bridge is just like a Big Vacation for Us.

All My Love,
Angel Baby
Happy Thanksgiving

BTW- I'm so glad I didn't have to endure all those weather extremes since June.... The weather here is always just Perfect!

Angel Baby, you've been absent from our daily presence for 5 months now. You are never far from our thoughts. Mazy finally decided it was okay to nap on your big fluffy pillow bed. She now keeps one of her little velour blankets laying in the middle of it. When she stands guard duty all alone...we usually find her waiting there on your bed.

We have been enjoying a very nice fall. I've expected to see you laying under the west cottonwood tree on these warm sunny afternoons. A Zillion times on auto pilot, to the entry ....thinking it is time to let you in or out. Then realize, you
are not here. The day you left, as I stroked your fur for the last time. I never said, "good-bye" I said, "until we meet again" Someday, all the furs that made up my pack of a lifetime, will be gathered waiting for me to cross the Bridge...We will all be together again.

One thing that helped with your absence is knowing that you and Foxie are together again. You two, spent most of your lives together and were closely bonded. I think about both of you every time another family loses one of their pups or purrs.

SSSSSOOOOOOO many have passed to the Bridge in 2011. Many tears have been shed....The sorrow all of these family must process makes our heart just ache.....We must remind ourselves of all the wonderful memories, all these people have of their furs.Just as our family, holds dear all the memories of both you and Foxie.

The unconditional love is so precious that our hearts mend, the pain eases and we are able to love another. The process allows us give another animal a loving forever home.

Another thing that has helped is knowing that Fur medicine is so much better than it once was. All these animals have been given the best of care, shelter, foods, companionship and plenty of love....

Pups and purrs live so much longer, than when I was a girl growing up. The people here at dogster and catster: our animals are not just animals! They are a huge part of our families.
We do everything humanly possible, within our means to give our animals a wonderful life.

The support of pals around dogster and catster have made the grieving process more bearable. So we do our best to try and be supportive of others forced to walk the same road. So to all the pals that went to the Bridge in 2010-2011....
Our House will not say "good-bye" but "until we meet again!"

Baby and Foxie Until we meet again........
All My Love,
Momma

Pawtastic Day...

Thank you HQ for the honor of being one of the Daily Diary Picks.
It was super Pawtastic when other pals were picked the same day.

Angel Foxie and myself along with many of our angel pals watched from the Bridge today. As the big 20 ton manure truck and payloader is busy cleaning Daddy's corrals. Poop hauling was so much Fun for Foxie and I. We'd dig for secret buried treasures as the poop was hauled to the fields. I was the Best scrounger of them all! We'd look for sun-dried treats left from birthing calves and working older calves. I was in all my glory, when I'd find somethin' worth eating. Foxie was a wussy! She liked to Hunt the treats and was good at it. She didn't have a cast iron tummy like me. A couple bites, she'd be puking all night long. Not me!!!! Let me at the Good Stuff, was my motto!

We'd also mark our territory in those clean corrals by rolling the the leftover stuff! You'd give us a bath.....Not my favorite thing to do! Then Foxie had one up on me... she would have taken a bath daily, if you had allowed it. I preferred my Fur dry at all times...

What a beautiful fall day you had. Nice breeze, sunny and 70's. The leaves are falling....The morning and evening air is crisp and cool. Thanks Mazy for rolling your nice sweater in the spilled poop as a tribute to me.... Gma wasn't even Mad...Cuz, you had to stay inside or in the front yard with all that gigantic equipment.Miss you, little half pint.....
Gotta Run, the angel babies want to hear more of the prairie adventures of Foxie and Baby....Seems,I'm quite popular with the city pupsters. Of course at age 19, I'm somewhat a Celeb around here. Some even say, I'm a sage.....

GGGGUURRRRRRRR! Under Attack!!!!!!

GGGGGGGGGGGGGUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRR!The Ponderosa Pirate ship hit a reef. We were sailing to the Ahoy Pirate Parties. Overtaken by Pirate Fleas, we fought for our lives. Pirate fleas knocked out our cannon messages to our Pirate Mateys....

Some pirate flags arrived at their destination. Others were swallowed up by the high seas. Finally it was impossible to send messages for mateys to rally....Cunning Shadow Lady,Slippery Silver Fox,Glittering Green Eyed She Cat and the Black Buxomus Beauty saved their ship.

Struggling Pirate Crew missed docking in ports for pirate parties. Will fight the pirate fleas to the bitter end. Sneaky fleas arrive on the horizon without warning. Will meet fellow pirates at Kookamago Island as soon as ship is sea worthy.

GGuuurrrr, we missed all the plunder celebrations. We are planning for next year. Outsmart those Pirate Fleas......
Ahoy!!!!!!!!!!!
The Cunning Shadow Lady and the Ponderosa Pirates.

THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE BODY

This is from our good pal, Minister Misty. We wanted to share it with other pals. We hope you enjoy it.

The Most Important Body Part

My mother used to ask me what is the most important part of the body and through the years I would take a guess at what I thought was the correct answer.
When I was younger I thought sound was very important to us as humans so I said my ears mommy.
She said "No, many people are deaf.
But you keep thinking about it and I will ask you again soon."

Several years passed before she asked me again. Since my last attempt I contemplated a correct answer.
So I told her "Mommy, sight is very important to everybody, so it must be our eyes." She looked at me and told me that I was learning fast but the answer is not correct because there are many people who are blind.

Stumped again I continued my quest for knowledge and over the years she asked me a couple more times and always the same answer "No.
But you are getting smarter every year my young child."

Then last year my Grandpa died.
Everybody was hurt.
Everybody was crying. Even my father cried.
I remember that especially because it is only the second time I saw him cry.
My Mom looked at me when it was our turn to say our final good-bye to Grandpa. She asked me "Do you know the most important body part yet my son?" And I was shocked she asked me this now.
I always thought this was a game between her and me.
She saw the confusion on my face and told me "This question is very important.
It shows that you have really lived in your life.
For every body part you gave me in the past I have told you that it was wrong and given you an example why.
But today is the day you need to learn this important lesson."

She looked down at me like only a mother can.
I saw her eyes well up with tears.
She said, "Son the most important body part is your shoulder.
" Was it because it held up my head?
She replied, "No, because it can hold the head of a friend or loved one when they cry.
Everybody needs a shoulder to cry on sometime in life my son.
I only hope that you have enough love and friends that you will always have a shoulder to cry on when you need it.
" Then and there I knew the most important body part was not selfish, it was sympathetic to the pain of OTHERS.

You are a friend and whenever you want you can cry on my shoulder!!!
People will forget what you said.
People will forget what you did, but People will never forget how you made them feel.

The Ten Commandments

The Ten Commandments

This was posted on our pal Rinky's page. Mommy found it so beautiful she wanted it on my page too.

The 10 Commandments From a Pet's Point of View
by Stan Rawlinson

1. My life is likely to last 10 - 15 years;
any separation from you will be painful for me.
Remember that before you adopt me.

2. Give me time to understand what you want
from me; don't be impatient, short-tempered,
or irritable.

3. Place your trust in me and I will always
trust you back. Respect is earned, not given
as an inalienable right.

4. Don't be angry with me for long
and don't lock me up as punishment; I
am not capable of understanding why. I
only know I have been rejected. You
have your work, entertainment, and friends,
but I only have you.

5. Talk to me sometimes. Even if I don't
understand your words, I do understand
your voice and tone. You only have to
look at my tail.

6. Be aware that however you treat me,
I'll never forget it, and if it is cruel,
it may affect me forever.

7. Please don't hit me. I can't hit
back, but I can bite and scratch, and
I really don't ever want to do that.

8. Before you scold me for being
uncooperative, obstinate, or lazy,
ask yourself if something might be
bothering me. Perhaps I'm not getting
the right foods or I've been out in the
sun too long, or my heart is getting
old and weak. It may be I am just
dog-tired.

9. Take care of me when I get old.
You too will grow old and may also
need love, care, comfort, and attention.

10. Go with me on difficult journeys.
Never say, "I can't bear to watch" or "Let
it happen in my absence." Everything is
easier for me if you are there. Remember,
regardless of what you do, I will always love you.

Hey Pals...It's July Already.....

My Dearest Pals-Happy 4th. of July Weekend from the Bridge....I sure won't miss the boom-crackers at Lake 5. About 5 miles as the crow would fly... I Never did like them, because they reminded me of the noises that come with thunderstorms and tornadoes. This weekend,Angel Foxie and I will blow sweet angel kisses down on little Mazy.(Maybe it will Help Her? She Hates all loud noises... You can hear those boomers real clear at our house.)

Momma....Tomorrow, I have been gone a month. I love it here at the Bridge. Where we have perfect weather, lots of games to play, parties all the time and anything we want to eat. You should see, my healthy trim, fit body that is full of energy. Foxie and I run and play....
We have an Awesome time, no matter what we do....

Now what's up with you and Mazy????? I see somedays Mazy eats well and others she does not.... She's a hound and was always ready to eat! She always did yap at machinery and autos that were not Gpa's, as well as the garbage truck. (Those things are so Loud!) She decided last winter that maybe barking at the strong winds would scare them away. Now she is barking at LOTS of other things! The coal trains and tracks are 7 miles away... What's up with that????? Can't tell you, if she is being more Protective, now that I am gone? Or is she afraid?????

Maybe some of our pals down there have some insights on what is going on with the little munchkin?????? Hey pals, any tips for Gma?????
Before I leave, sending Big Birthday Wishes to Mazy! Little doxie, you will be 4 years old on July 6th. Have a Happy, happy birthday....
Can't wait to see what kind of pressies you receive. I'm so glad you decided it was okay to sleep on my new fluffly pillow bed. This is my gift to you.....

Pals...would you stop by my page and sign my guestbook??? Gma loves looking at your pictures while she listens to my music.
Lots of love and kisses, Angel Baby

This little poem showed up this week...Just when we needed it.
Thanks Radar,Wolf,Molly and Momma D. Angel Wyoming,Angel Cheyenne,Angel Foxie and Me (Angel Baby) were yappin': as loud as we could...to let Radar,Wolf and Molly know, Gma was having a tough day and feelin' mighty low...
Isn't it Wonderful, how God delivers just what we need, when we need it? Gma...Stop gettin' up at night to check on me! I'm sleepin' just fine from playin' all day long....Mazy even tried to sleep on your tummy last night....You still got up at 3:15 and came to my bed...

I thought of you with love today
But that is nothing new
I thought of you yesterday
And days before that too
I think of you in silence
I often speak your name
But all I have are memories
And your picture in a frame
Your memory is my keepsake
With which I'll never part
God has you in his keeping
I have you in my heart.

Godspeed Sweet Baby
