Arrival Story:
We lost our beloved Leo, also a Ridgeback, due to veterinary negligence... the vet refused to do the necessary procedure to save Leo's life until it was too late. Our family was heartbroken, and heard of a Ridgeback related to Leo that hadn't found a home so we took him in. Couldn't be happier! I love my Max!

Bio:
He was perfectly healthy on May 4, 2005 when he went to the vet to get neutered... but dead by nightfall because the vet messed up and killed him. He was very loved and is missed more than he will ever know. I LOVE YOU, MAX! You enriched my life with the 2 1/2 short years we spent together. I think of you every day and I can't wait to see you again someday. Our home is not home anymore without you.. You are an irreplaceable part of our family.
