Andre' went to the vet today.

Got this from his rescue mom.

"Update from vet:
Andre' is a 'double dilute' or 'lethal white' as some call it. Which means that both parents were probably merled in color, more than likely australian cattle dog mixes or catahoula's or both. He thinks that his small size is also attributed to his condition, he was more than likely very sickly as a pup and it is more than likely he is in essence a "dwarf" or like in people, a little person he said you could almost say he is a 'pygmy'. He is sending out his blood work to see what that shows us, if $$ allows we may have a DNA test done on him to help determine his breed specifics.

As far as his hearing goes, he is almost completely deaf, but can at times hear high pitch or low sounds that cause more vibration, it is possible he thinks that Andre's condition of being a 'dbl dilute' also these dogs commonly have some nerological mis-fires, that are probably causing his hearing to be intermittent, meaning sometimes he hears somethings & sometimes he doesn't. Either way, he is in good health, Dr. Jeff thinks he is an amazing little dog, with a great spirit. He is winning hearts all over!! WE LOVE ANDRE'!!!"
