I went to see the special Dogtor last Saturday. Had I known what was going to happen, I would not have wanted to go on the car ride. It just so special when Mum takes just me I can't help but get excited and want to go.
So we get to this place. She had brought me here a few weeks or months or days ago. I don't like going into any of these places because something is always going to happen. I've lost parts and gotten shots and all manor of rude things done to me at this kind of place. So I tell Mum if she wants me to go in here she is going to have to carry me, and she does! We get in the room in the back and they come in, like they always do, but this time they take me away and leave Mum there. I go to another area and then they give me a shot, knew that was going to happen, and soon I'm sleeping. Just couldn't help it. I was trying to stay awake because I know something is going to happen but I couldn't. So years later I wake up and I'm on a blanket with Mum next to me. I asked her what happened and then I see it. They shaved off a bunch of my beautiful coat! I have a naked rectangle on my side. This is embarassing I said. Mum quickly put a shirt on me to cover it up. Turns out this is how they found out what makes me itch. I reacted to everything at least a little but 10 things a lot including grass and insects and corn and mold. I don't know what mold is but I know what the other things are and I like them. Especially in the warm weather. So Mum says we have to go back there again. I'm not looking forward to that trip, I can't imagine what will happen to me then.
Poor little HammyMan. Hmm, since you are 'lergic to grass, you can go potty in the house. Stay off the grass!
Funny you should say that. I have a potty patch that I use when I just can't wait.
'Llergicness tu stuffs r nod fun, Hammy :( It takes wotza hard werk an' persebewance an' time tu deal wif it. Yu an' yur Mum need tu hab WOTZA payshuntz an' junk, bud it will be worf it, I pwomise ♥
Lergic stuff is no fun - Finley can tell you all about dat allergy testing and stuffs. I's tried to convince my momma I'm lergic to not barking, but she don't buy it.
I feels your pain, Hamish.. literally. I had the same thing done to me. But it helped them get a serum so's Momma can give me shots... and the shots have helped me a lot. Hope the shots work for you.
I come and sit now when Momma tells me "shot time"-- I knows they make me feel better.
