FHO Surgery Update - Recovering at home

Hi pups. Well I'm at home recovering. I'm doing pretty good I guess, if having a huge cut with it stiched up is doing good.(hehe..see I still have a sense of humor). Each day I get stronger. When I go out to potty I walk a little and I do put a little weight on my leg. Yesterday the cat ran across the back yard and I stopped and got that look that you know, labs get, and my mom had to grab me before I took off. She said starting today I have to go out with my leash..can you believe that..in my own back yard, I have to wear a leash, but mom said it was to protect me....ok.
I'm getting more excited(not in a good way) about being confined each day. I don't like it one bit! I'm whinning about it but mom just keeps saying, "It's ok Molly". I really don't like it at night because I use to sleep with my mom and dad. Mom has me confined next to the bed by her and she reaches down and pets me, but I'm still waking up around 2:30 every night, whinning and moaning and not going back to sleep. Mom is not sure if it's because I'm hurting and not wanting to be confined...and I just can't seem to tell her what is wrong!
Thank you all my furfriends for all of the prizes and wonderful messages. Mom said we are going to get back to each of you but it might take a couple of days. You all are so wonderfur!!!!
Well I think it's time for a pain pill (well, Rimadyle, but it helps some). Wuv you all.....Molly
