We are still here....

Chewy has already told all our non-existant BIG NEWS...so about all I can say is, "Yeah. What HE said..."
It seems that I am a real handful these days. I'm just puppy-crazy and full of energy. The cold weather has kept us inside, but now it's time to get out and learn some stuff. I know I can be smart, too, if pointed in the right direction...again and again...and again! ;)
Mom now has dayshift with weekends off...just like Dad, so life will be much better now.
So we are all together and well and happy, so that's what really matters!
Think I'll go try to stir up some excitement!

Last checkup...

Finally...I got my last shot yesterday! Thank goodness. They said I've made it to the 6lb. mark now. Chewy still weighs about three times more! I have to rest alone after shots, cause Chewy might hurt my sore spot. We do get kinda ruff, you know.
We got some great new Dogzilla tug toys, and boy do we love 'em! Chewy drags me around, but I just hold on. I'm trying to stop holding his ears and beard, but sometimes I just get mad & let him have it! Then he zooms and runs over me if I don't get out of the way. Then we have to go time out till we calm down. Then we just start all over again. We have so much fun! But now we can even rest quietly together...for a few minutes.

Leia's tales .............

I've been so busy running and playing with Chewy and eating and sleeping and growing and learning stuff that I almost forgot to write again.
At my second checkup, I weighed 2+ lbs, then on third check up I was up to 4+ lbs!! Still, I'm just LITTLE.
But don't be fooled: I can keep up just fine with Chewy. We wrestle and run as long as we can...until I get "put up" in my pen in the kitchen.
Chewy taught me to play tug last week, and I'm getting pretty good at it: I sometimes snatch it away from him and RUN and hide in one of my little hiding places where he can't fit. He waits...the I run out and JUMP HIM.....while I hang on to his ears or beard!!! FUN! FUN! FUN!

On May 30, 2010, I went to a new home. I was sorry to leave my mom, but it was time. I was a little nervous about the doggy who was already there. I just weighed 19 ounces while he weighed almost 19 pounds! But guess what?! What a great home I have!! I am so happy to have Chewbacca as a big brother! He is teaching me to run and play and I just hang on for a ride by pulling on his beard or ears while he tries to walk away. He is so sweet and gentle with me most of the time, but when he gets the ZOOMIES..... watch out! We play hide & seek when I scramble off to little hiding places he can't fit into. He is so much fun and my new Mom says he grew up a lot when he got his little sis to play with. He still goes to "Bark & Stretch" to play with the BIG dogs. Then Mom & I have a quiet girls' day out.
Last week we all went to the beach, but I just stayed in the condo with Chewy. It was SO HOT, and I had a good time just keeping cool with my bro.
On my 9 week checkup, Doc says I have gained another pound. (Look out, Chewy!!! :)
