Mom just realized that she and Laurie drove down and got me EXACTLY one year ago this weekend!!! What a year it has been!
I have gone from a bratty, leg lifting, growly dog to a happy, playful, CLEAN pup!
I remember my first trip down to that lab pen, on that Sunday afternoon when we got home. First of all, it was FREEZING down there, even the others were cold, but I was really cold cuz I came from 90 degree weather.
And, there were the black flies... well, that first day there were none cuz they were frozen, BOL!!! They are sure back here today, though. We didn't have those things down in NC. We had lots of other stuff, but NO black flies. They are sooo annoying when they get in my ears and walk up and down my back. I HATE them and hope it gets really hot pretty soon so they will disappear soon!
I am happy that we don't have hurricanes and tornados up here, or at least very often. Did you know there was a tornado at my old home a while back and it took out the Walmart store??? Mom said she went to that store when she was down getting Harvey.
Hmmm, well, it HAS been a good year and I hope I have many, many more up here with Mom and Harvey and Crystal and all my other friends.

Thanks, Milo. Somehow it makes Mom happy to write this stuff. She is a bit strange??? we haven't got the black flies (yet?) but we sure do have the ticks! :(
we've been going for walks in the forest instead of the fields but we still find at least one or two in our ears afterwards!
today was the most beautiful spring day yet, we went for a wonderful hike at a nature preserve nearby.
