This is a question for all dogs aged 12 or over: How would you like it if your mom adopted another dog? Not a puppy, she said, an adult dog.I mostly eat and nap.I don't like to be held or petted, but I do like to be at Mom's feet wherever they might be, and I don't like to be pestered. How about you? What do you think?

Thanks for your opinion, Petey. I'm not a snuggler but I'm not sure I want to share my space (and Mom) with another dog.

Patch, I do like having Casey around but it's taken 10 years to get used to him. I'm thinking that I may not be able to get used to someone new especially if he/she takes my food. When hearing and sight goes all you have left is food! Do you think your mom could find a dog that would not bother you and doesn't like to eat?

Well, if the period of adjustment is 10 years, I won't have enough time left to get used to a new dog. You make some very good points which I will pass on to Mom. It's true about the food - my schedule is sleep, eat breakfast, sleep, eat lunch, sleep, eat dinner, sleep, eat a bedtime snack, sleep, and do it all again the next day.
