Workout Video

Just thought you might like to see my performance at the rehab center. Today I warmed up on the Peanut Roll - I have to balance on it. It's pretty hard. Mom has to act like training wheels so I don't fall off. It helps my balance and strengthens my muscles. Then I had to do the wheelbarrow, which I'm finally getting used to - it's a little embarrassing so I didn't put it in my workout video. I'm supposed to do a cross-legged stand which is really, really hard! I'd like to see YOU do that! Finally, I get in the pool and do the underwater treadmill. The cute girl you see is my therapist, Melissa. I really like her. She tells me what a great job I'm doing and gives me treats. After I'm pretty tired out on the treadmill, I still have to do my free swim. This is the part, as you know, that I really don't like. Melissa puts a "swim cap" on me so I won't get water in my ears and then tries to entice me into the pool. Sometimes I'll start swimming on my own, but when I've had enough, she has to get a little more persuasive. But when I've finished, she praises me, gives me a treat and a good rub-down. I love the rub-downs! I wiggle and squirm with delight and then run all around the room in excitement!
If this work-out video goes viral, I might try to market it. I'll keep you posted.

Hey Patch, Love your video! Nice moves and the hurdles look so festive! Casey gave you a 9.5 on the mount to the ball and I gave you a 10. Keep up the good work and you're a shoo-in for the next Olympics. Teddy and Casey

Good job, Patch! It's ok, Patch, don't be embarrassed. Sometimes I get embarrassed when I put my hat on. Everyone gets embarrassed sometimes, Patch. Lots of people get embarrassed; even some people that don't have bathrooms and have to go potty in their pants! I bet your teacher is really nice. We love you, Patch! (I even got embarrassed when my mom read this back to me!)

XOXO,
Jia and Mom (all the words are from Jia)
