my dad is such a helpless human. I swear I have to do everything for him...just like the other night, mom has been saying she was hungry for lobster, so dad put some steaks on the grill( three steaks, two humans, one ELLIS, so far so good) then he made four great big lobster tails(four lobster, two humans, one ELLIS with big tummy so far things are looking pretty darn good for me) then he made some baked potatoes(for potatoes, two humans, one ELLIS,you better be really hungry dad caus ellis don't like potatoes)so anyhow mom got her steak all cut up(without a single piece falling down here for poor starving me) she got the shell all cracked and pulled off the lobster(once again, not a single morsel for poor me) she did nearly knock her potatoe off the plate putting that stupid sour cream on it(as if i would have benefited from that)while I'm thinking of it , does an experation date on sour cream really seem nessisary? Anyway, poor old dad,he managed to get his steak cut up all right,...but getting the lobster out of it's shell? not happening.he was prying and prying and then it just went flying through the air......lucky for him I'm a good catcher. it nearly got away. But fortunatly "super ellis" was on the job, I caught that run away lobster and craked it open with one chomp, dad took it away for some reason(he did let me have a couple bites later, but he said to much would make me sick.(I think not) but I did finaly get my steak when he took the runaway lobster back out the kitchen to get another he left his plate(with MY steak)on the end table so I figured he wanted me to help myself. mmmmmm. medium well, one of my ten favorite ways to cook a steak,(oh yeah ...why did he put a potatoe on my plate? he knows I don't like those....

yeeeee haaaaaa!!!! I am so excited! Today I went for a really good run.My dad keeps some paths mowed in the field we don't use,so a couple times a week he takes us out on our leashes and we run and run and run until we(or he) can't run anymore. It would be a little better if dad could run a little faster, but that's ok(how fast can you really expect to go with only 2 legs?)But today was different, today I was flying!!!! I don't think ANY of my brothers have made it around the field that fast befor, and even though it was only one lap this time ,it was sure worth it just to go as fast as possible for one whole lap.when the lap was over though, dad looked pretty disapointed in me,(I don't know why, I ran my very fastest)he even told me to go to my room for a time out!I don't think that's fair.you don't send an olympic sprinter to their room for a time out after they run the fastest they've ever ran do you?of course not.But that's what he did to me,and after such a great run.....Oh hey,did I mention that dad was going out to feed the goats and I dashed threw the gate and took it upon myselfe to make an unscheduled run(without dad,OR my running leash) oops.....I think I just figured out that whole time out thing.I guess I better not do that anymore.UH-oh gotta go ,dad's going out to feed the goats again,I better just see if he needs some help..(wink)
