Mike is a 4 Paws Rescue adoptable dog!!
Bio:
Mike has been with us for 6 years. All he really wants is a forever loving home! Mike, like many Black dogs, is ALWAYS over-looked. Black dogs are always the last to be adopted out and the first to be euthanized because people think they're plain and it is hard to read their expressions through their faces. They are also associated with witch craft. Black dogs are also the most over-bred dog next to Pit bulls. Everyone is looking for the unique colored or purebred dogs and that is how Black dogs get over-looked. Please adopt a Black dog and SAVE A LIFE! Mike LOVES humans and is always happy to receive treats and pettings from people. Really, all he wants from people is love. He would be good with children too! He is energetic and would make would make a great exercise buddy. He is smart too and could learn just about any trick. Mike's one set back is he would like to be an only pet. He doesn't like a majority of other dogs and he does not like kitties. We don't think Mike is house-trained as he has been at the shelter for most of his life. But older dogs are much easier to house-train then puppies and he'll learn to go potty outside quick. He is crate-trained, though. He has a sleek, short Black coat and is medium sized. He is a gorgeous boy! We think he is a English Pointer/Black Lab mix and is about 8 years old. Mike's adoption fee is $125 which includes he is neutered and up to date on shots. He MUST be an indoor member of the family in his new home! Please choose this WONDERFUL and very affectionate boy!!
