I promised to share the YUMMY cookie recipe, Grandma makes for me!
So here it is:
OATMEAL PEANUTBUTTER PUPPERS COOKIES
1 cup of whole wheat flour
1 cup of quick oatmeal
1 1/2 Tablespoons of vegetable oil
1/3 cup peanutbutter
1 cup of warm tap water
optional a drizzle of honey ... use about 1/2 teaspoon
Mix this ALL together......Roll dough into quarter size balls with your hands. Put on cookie sheets. We had 48 out of the batch. Press down thin with fingers. Finished product is about silver dollar size.
heat oven to 325......... filled 2 large cookie sheets. we baked them all at the same time. set timer for 20 minutes, then switch the pans on the racks. 20 more minutes. then we turned the oven off. put all the cookies on the largest pan. turned them over. left in the oven for additional 15 min. wanted then dry and crunchy so they would be good keepers.
MAZY LOVES THEM! More than her favorite bought biscuits.Because they are crunchy..sure they help with teeth cleaning....
We think, if you have a Fur with Wheat issues: why not swap out the whole wheat flour for rice flour, soy or oatmeal flour? If peanutbutter isn't good for you.... try applesauce, mashed banana, carrot or pumpkin. We think..there are ENDLESS options.
Enjoy the cookies!!!!!!!! Here is a picture of the cookies......

Yummy - I can't wait for momma to make them. She said she would make some for my my birthday on Tuesday. Even Arleenton will get to have one.
Thank you for sharing your recipe.
