Well no food or water for me this morning, and my bestest pathetic face is not working on anyone! I am going to see Dr. Brown again today and he is going to fix my other hip. So into the cage I go, not very happy about that as it is slippery slidy and I don't like that. But I am looking forward to a nice sleep and som TLC and food this evening!

Hip Dysplasia Surgery Update

I thought it might be a good idea to document my recovery process for others who might be planning on going through Femoral Head Excision surgery.

My surgery was on Wednesday and I was able to come home Thursday afternoon. I was given pain pills, antibiotics and glyxoflex for the inflammation to help my recovery process. Thursday night was not good. I just could not get comfy. I am a left handed guy and not being able to lie on my left side did not make me happy. Mom cuddled with me all night on the floor and I finally got a few hours of sleep.
I am lucky cuz Mom and Dad both work at home. Generally, I spend my days at Moms feet while she works and Dad is upstairs working. Mom figured that I would be a good boy and stay with her so she did not make me go into the x pen. That was until I heard Dad open up the curtains upstairs. I just love looking out the window so before Mom knew what was happening I was Up the Stairs!!! Now I have to stay in the x pen, or on the couch with Mom.
I now love the couch, I never use to spend much time up there but it is so softy that I am happy to lay on my blanky on the couch.
Tomorrow I will share my secrets for getting extra pampering!

Wow, it has taken me 2 whole days to recover from a GREAT time at Bark in The Park.
As Joe from the Mercury News said, its just like fairs for people with less drinking an fighting.

Hello wo all the new corgies that we met. and hello to all are friends that we did not get to see. Next year mom and I are going to have the neighbors parnets come pick them up so that mom and I can stay all day! I missed the sheeps again~ urgh~

Hopefully next year the folks from dogster will have a booth so we can meet all of our on line friend there!
