Arrival Story:
Adopted from a neighbor in 2002. The neighbor had two pit bulls and, while Samantha got along with the dogs and the neighbor adored her, she wasn't getting the time and affection she needed. I happily took over her care and we've been inseparable ever since.

Bio:
SAMANTHA IS HOME!!! She and her carrier (and nothing else) were stolen during a break-in at my home on January 23. Six long, horrible, frantic days later, she was returned by some Good Samaritans who claimed they had bought her on the street two days after she disappeared. The police are investigating but have no real leads at this time. Samantha and I thank everyone here at Dogster for all the bones, good wishes and other treats. Yap! Yapyapyapyapyap! Samantha flew to Texas again for Christmas 2006 and 2007 and luckily caused no further national security hazards. In 2005, we flew to Texas again and she managed to escape from her carrier while Mommy was napping and bolt up the center aisle of the plane and almost got herself and Mommy shot by air marshalls. Samantha hopes to see more of the world soon. Mommy is still a little nervous. Samantha took her first flight (to Austin, TX) in December of 2004 and was a most well-behaved traveller.
