Best Tricks:
Shakes, High-fives, Sits, Downs, Affection Paw, and Flopping on the ground. Oh, I also like to assist in Halloween costumes. For example, in the picture to the left I'm supposed to be the Sally Field accesory to my dad's Burt Reynolds costume.

Arrival Story:
My dad didn't pick me. I picked him. While my brothers and sisters were busy running around and showing off and biting everything in site, I simply walked over to my dad and flopped down at his feet. I looked at him in a way that said "okay, I'm ready. . . let's go." I had a really bad cold when I was 8 wks old and my dad often had to stay up with me all night long to wipe my nose and give me my medicine.

Bio:
I'm very protective of my family and love to play referee. I'm also a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan, especially number 82 (who, by the way, is a big fan of me!!). I watch every game and love to wear my Steelers' shirt.

Big thoughts from an even bigger head

I am truly a Bumble

I beleive my mom and dad originally gave me this particular nickname simply because I looked like that big scary white monster that frightented Rudolf and his friends.

Well, little did mom and dad know that I am in fact truly a terror in the snow! All my athletic abilities are amplified once my huge feet hit the white stuff. By far my favorite snow time activiey is jumping (extrodinarly high). I also like to bat the snow up into the air and catch it. My big finishing move is the "run jump 180."

There is one other trick I like to do just for mom. I love to play one-dog Iditarod team and pull her down the hill. It's like cross-country sking without all that unecessary effort.

Graduation!!!

After two weeks of rigorous study, concentration, and some very hard tests. . . I finally graduated!!! Graduation day was so exciting! Although I was happy to go back home, I was sad to leave my trainer and my girlfriend. . . ahhh I mean classmate, Anna.

Now, in addition to being a very well behaved dog (I’m supposed to say “relatively speaking”), I’m also much more confident. At this point, I’m actually a bit more advanced in the “commands department” than my parents, as they still have five more sessions with the trainer.

So far, I have the following commands on lock, healing, sitting automatically when we stop walking, and downs (my favorite). I love to show off my new skills for all my parent’s friends, but instead of saying “wow Bruce, you heal so nicely” they still keep saying, “wow, look how big his head is.” For the record, both my parents and I know how big my head is, but I can’t help it.

Oh, I almost forgot. . . my trainer suggested I change my food (because he said I had the worst gas EVER), and it WORKED!!! I still sneak one out now and again, but I'm no longer clearing out the entire house!

My first day of school

I left for a week of obedience training today. If you read my profile then you know my favorite walk is "anywhere I pull you." Unfortunately, I'm getting entirely too big and strong to be pulling my parents around. Plus, I don't really pay much attention to my mom's corrections. This of course upsets her. So, I'll be getting some much needed professional training. I'm sure I'll have fun while I'm at school, as I love meeting new people and new pup pals. Of course, I will miss my mom and dad, and I'm sure they will miss me!
