Arrival Story:
Buster was a stray who set up camp on our front stoop in late July of 2004. After a couple days we broke down and gave him some water, the next day some food, and finally gave in and took him to the vet. The vet told us he was between one and two years old and did not have heartworm, so we got him his shots and medicine for his many intestinal worms, and he was home to stay. It took a while to fatten him up and for his large bald patches to fill in, but we think he looks pretty darn good now.
