So, I'm trying to be a good big sister, and trying to find games that both Manny and I can play together. One of our favorite games is tag, which sometimes turns into hide and seek. I have to admit, I really enjoy playing this.
I have been trying to get the little guy to play other games as well. I will pick up a toy and go over to him with it in hopes he will play. In the process, I've learned some things NOT to do with smaller pups:
#1... Tug-o-war. This game usually ends up with the pup being tossed like a flailing boomerang.
#2...Pawing at the other pup. This generally sends them sprawling, causing them to yip and run when you do that. Apparently it's not an enticement to play.
#3...Drop a tennis ball on their head. Again, this doesn't seem to entice the little buggers to want to play - for a WHILE. He kind of acts like he got a bomb dropped on him or something. I think he's just trying to get attention....
#4...Mouth "wrestle". BAD idea. Someone usually has to do the heimlich maneuver on me to get the little furball out.
You can't really do alot with these li'l guys, but what you can do is alot of fun. And don't tell mom, I actually have LOADS of fun doing all the things I just mentioned! Ha!

Oh, when my cuzzin Schotzy was a little pup our cuzzin Dixie would play tug/fling a puppy. Schotzy LOVE dat game! She go back fur more & more.
Good thing the big pups here don't play with me!
My best bud, Mick, plays with me and he's just
the right size - just a bit bigger than me.
Be careful with the little furball, Trocair!
BOL! I don't think I'd like some of those games!
BOL..you still might need to come up with some other.
Hmmmm all those games sound fine in my book. As long as you don't try to take his squeaker out I say it's all good. BOL
Sophie giggles when she reads "Things not to do". Sorry, I shouldn't laugh but mom is imagining all of these! BOL
Oh I know how you feel. Monty thankfully is big enough to play with me, he just doesn't like playing with toys what a stick in the mud.
Now Grandma's Cairns I try to play with and Cha Cha the baby will play with me but, I sometimes don't see her and roll over and all you can hear is her muffled growls under my 125lbs.
