Quick Bio:
-dog rescue

Likes:
other dogs and car rides!

Pet-Peeves:
when I tell him it's time to stop playing with any dogs, he did have food aggression at first, but that's pretty much nipped.

Favorite Toy:
the baby chick (stuffed animal), giant plush octapus, my hedgehogs (real ones - that gets him in trouble)

Favorite Food:
meat, Wysong Archetype Burgers

Favorite Walk:
anywhere where there are other friendly dogs

Best Tricks:
sit, roll over (for tummy rubs - he's VERY submissive), dancing on his hind legs...we're working on "high five"

Arrival Story:
Marcel's first owner came into my work while I was living in Raleigh, NC (I work with dogs) and asked if we knew anyone who could take a "completely healthy toy poodle puppy" because he and his daughter supposedly had allergies. My friend Amanda remembered that I had been thinking of getting a puppy play mate for myself and my dog Giuseppe, so she came to get me and convinced me to stop the guy and tell him I'd take him. He brought Marcel (previously named "Maxie") in and he and Giuseppe got along really well. I agreed to give him a great home (even though I would NEVER have gotten a poodle and a white one at that - now, of course, I LOVE them!) and he was on his way.

Bio:
The reason I quoted "completely healthy toy poodle puppy" is because there is NO WAY he is a toy. He also doesn't really look like a full poodle - his body is quite long. I think he has some Bichon in him. The guy also told me that he was 6 months and was all up-to-date on shots when he was really 10 months and not updated at ALL. He also has luxating patellas (knee caps that shift out of place) and may need surgery someday and he was a cryptorchid, so the neutering was more expensive than a normal castration, but I don't regret taking him at ALL! He is one of the sweetest, most easy-going dogs I know!
