Sleeping, rawhides, kongs and eating.
She's a little possessive of her stuff
Squirt isn't into dog toys so much
Squirt isn't a fan of walking, so I'd say her favorite place is the couch
During the summer of 2009, Squirt was returned to the Animal Welfare Society by the woman who adopted her in 2005. She claimed the dog just couldn't bond and was "untrainable". I usually don't swoon over the smaller breeds (hey, I love guardian breeds) but one afternoon I was cleaning the outdoor pens and she was just sitting all alone in one howling so sadly. So, I decided I'd foster Squirt until she found her new home. Well she fit right in but I noticed right away that there was something off about her. Aside from discovering she had a serious urinary tract infection, it also appeared Squirt was one deaf dog, which would explain how her previous home thought she was very disobedient. After caring for her for a few months while she got over her UTI, I couldn't bring myself to send her to a new home, she just seemed to fit so well with me and I still have her to this day. Squirt really taught me how incredible older dogs are to adopt and since adopting her, I think I'll stick with the golden oldies from now on.
