Arrival Story:
One morning in early 1996 I was woken up by a dog barking, I worked nights so I was very upset to be awake. I lived on the 5th floor and looked out the window to see where the dog was. When I looked down I saw Cheech tied to the gate in the back of my building. He looked up at me with a look that said, "You are my Mommy & you are taking me home". I went down & got him immediately & he's been my baby ever since.

Bio:
I found out Cheech was owned by a couple that lived across the street & that the husband used to beat him. He had a limp from being kicked in the right hip when I got him. The wife had to get rid of him because he was peeing in the hall way. The reason he was doing that was because he was so terrified. It took me 2 years to get him to stop peeing when I put his collar on in the house, he was afraid of people leaning over him. He now only pees a little bit when he gets really excited but I can hug & kiss him now without a problem.
