Hi, Carmella here. My brother Pauley & I are new to Blue Ridge Boxer Rescue. Our mom & dad got a divorce – mom didn’t want us anymore and unfortunately, dad was not able to take us to his new apartment. We were so scared, confused and sad but the nice people at Blue Ridge took us in and we are now in a foster home with 6 other dogs. I was really stressed about it and had lost some weight but now that I am in a home again, I have gained some weight back. Mom says I’m a really tall, beautiful fawn girl with the cutest under bite you have ever seen. I am a sweet, snuggly girl that loves to give kisses and sit beside you on the couch. I like to tell you when I hear something outside that may hurt you so I am a great watch dog but, if I meet someone new and you tell me they are OK, I’ll welcome them with lots of kisses. I can sit and shake. I like people, children and other dogs that are not mean but I’m not sure about cats (I’ve never met any). The main thing I need to practice on is walking on a leash – mom says I like to pull so we are working on that. I’m house-trained and crate-trained and like Kongs and Nylabones but, my absolute favorite thing is playing in the fenced yard with my brother. Pauley and I were from the same litter and we have grown up together so I love him so much and he is really the only family I have left so, we need to be adopted together. But, that is really a good thing b/c you would have 2 beautiful dogs that are well-behaved and already get along with each other. Wouldn’t it be great to have a pair of gorgeous boxers for Christmas? You had better hurry and get your application in because mom says I’m a beautiful lady and my brother is a handsome hunk of boxer man so we will not be around long.
