Arrival Story:
When I found out I was having a baby, I couldn't wait 9 months to see my baby boy. So I decided to get a canine baby. I wanted a poodle since they are hypoallergenic and I had recently learned I was allergic to many breeds. My friend Teri helped me look for ads and found a rather eccentric lady south of Olympia, WA who breeds small dogs. He was the last of the litter, his mom was pure black and his dad was apricot like him. He showed us his tummy and curled up to sleep on my husband immediately. Needless to say, he came home with us that night.
Bio:
Herbie is now all grown up and still as loveable as ever! He still jumps on people too much, but he's small enough that it's not so bad. Now that he's bigger, he's allowed to sleep outside his kennel and he usually chooses to sleep with his little (human) brother. He's also excellent with Gidget our teeny chihuahua, he lets her win when the have snarling/nipping contests. They are kenneled together during the day and do quite well together.
