Yes, I have a new friend/enemy. There is a dog in our neighborhood named Daisy. She is a little brown dog. She looks to be a beagle/boxer mix. I am way bigger than Daisy, but she thinks she is the boss. Everytime I go on a walk, she comes out and plays with me. We have a great time.
Today, just as me and mom were getting ready to go for a walk, Daisy and her owners(she lives with a bunch of girls)came walking by. Of course I went over to play with her. We played in the field running and chasing each other.
Now, this is an interesting fact about me: Everytime I go for a walk (or a car ride) I always take a toy. When I walk, I carry my toy all the way around the block. If I drop it, mom makes me pick it up.
So I had my toy, a stuffed doggie holding a heart, and Daisy stole my toy! I stole it back and she stole it again. Then she took off running. Running with MY Doggie! I went after her, but she went up the secret passage between the houses and mom did not let me go after her.
When we got around the corner we saw Daisy without my toy. She took it and she hid it. Mom said that it would be ok, that I have lots of toys and we would get it back a different day, but mom that is not the point. Daisy took and hid MY TOY. I am going to find one of Daisy's toys and take it then we'll see what mom says about that.

Hope you get your toy back!
Wow! I have been forced to suffer through enough Preschool Playdates to know that what Daisy did is wrong, and after her time out, she needs to find that toy and paw it back over to you! And don't believe for one minute that old line about "you have plenty of toys, anyway." That's what Moms always say and it means this: that toy is a goner, and your Mom is not going to replace it. Perhaps you need to get even.
